|I have been building my "Family Tree" for about 4 years now. As a small child we lived in Johnstown & Erie, Pennsylvania where some of my family still live. We moved to Burbank, California in 1961 and lived there until 2006 when we moved to Bakersfield, California. I am simi-retired and work from home. My Mother comes from the Mock/Mauk family line of Bedford County, Pennsylvania and my Father comes from the Surdukan line, in Windber, Somerset, Pa. I enjoy working on my family tree and search daily for information.|

Hi Patricia, I have a related Mock family that is related to my Erb line. Mary Magdalena Erb b.1734 Find A Grave#70655234 married Peter Mock b.1727 Find A Grave#21085337 abt 1756,they had two sons and a daughter. I have the family linked together on Find-A-Grave with Mary Magdalena Erb the oldest d/o Peter b.1712 & Maria Lowis Erb b.1712. The Mock surname has changed to Mack through three generations later. Peter Mock Sr.b.1727 son was Peter Mock Jr.b.1767 and his son was Peter Mack b.1786. Do you have more that you would be welling to share about the Mock family? Thanks,Lynn Erb

You're very welcome!
|Joan of VA||David Mock and Laura Mock|
I think the David Mock is the correct one for the cemetery. Now as to correct birth and deah dates I don't know. You may have to contact the lady who put David's and Laura's memorial online. Also if you are correct and Laura birthday is 1874, as you wrote and their marriage was in 1870? That would make Laura age 4 when she married......
The 1880 census Brush Valley, Ind Co., PA has David Mock age 40 and Laura Mock age 33 (B. 1847) children: Martha C age 12; Aggie F. age 9 b. PA; Armour L. age 7 b. PA; Amelia M age 5b. PA; Morilla G age3 b. PA; Emma C age 1 b. PA
They are buried in the Mt Tabor Cemetery

|Graveyard Walker||John Surdukan|
Sorry, but I have not been able to come up with his grave site.
|Graveyard Walker||RE: John Surdukan|
Okay, now I have a better understanding. New Mexico has two Veterans National Cemeteries. I checked both and he is not listed as being at either and both maintain up-to-date records. But, that being said, several cemeteries in the Albuquerque area offer military sections, those are not always up-to-date online. I will check with the major ones that I am aware of and let you know what I find. I should have some answers within a week.

I'm sorry - which cemetery, or area of New Mexico are you referring to?
