Bio and Links
Bio Photo I grew up in Lake, Scott, Mississippi and have lived in Riverside, California since I got out of the U.S. Army in 1986. I am descended from Michael Sanders Gould Sr. (1763 - 1809) & Elizabeth "Betsy" Post (1765 - 1840) who soon after they married migrated to Bogue Sound, Carteret, North Carolina from Scotland, United Kingdom of Great Britain in 1788. I am descended through their eldest son, David James Gould (1794 - 1865), James A. Gould (1828 - 1905), Green George Gould (1855 - 1919), Noah Thomas Gould (1880 - 1957), George Ellis Gould (1906 - 1958) and Joseph Douglas Gould (1943). I have spent years researching both my Paternal and Maternal Familial lineages and I want to facilitate others research who will follow after me.

Kendrick/Gould Family
My husband descends from the Kendrick line and I would like to add what you have to mine and I will gladly share what I have with you on Elizabeth Kendrick's line. Please tell me who is in the pictures you posted. I would love to see more if you have them on Elizabeth's children, etc. Thank you for what you do to keep this site free. Please email me at hljordan_00@yahoo.com.

Kinseeker's Cousin
Roscoe Israel
Hello, My name is Connie. I'm looking for information on my great uncle Henry "Roscoe" Israel who was married to Maymie Larcenia "Lea" Gould at one time. I think she later married a man by the name of Dudley. I notice that you have done memorials on several Goulds who are buried in Lake Cemetery in Scott County, Mississippi. I have reason to believe uncle Roscoe may be buried there also. Do you have any information on him? If not, do you know how I can contact the people who manage the cemetery to see if they can help me?

Thank you very much.

RE: Samuel Wragg Ferguson
David,
A few years back I aquired the records of his son, James Dugue Ferguson, engineer, surveyor, and soldier. In the boxes I found many original letters and papers about his family. I am in the process of trying to get a monument on James gravesite in Beuvoir Cemetery, Jeff Davis last home. My resaearch has placed him and his sister next to their mother, Kate. I am researching for a book on this family. With the origianl documents that only I have I think I can bring some light upon this family. I am currently looking for a book written by James Lowrey about Brigadier General Ferguson and his wife Kate, and any other data I can come up with.

Lucille Emmons Gould
David, May I use your pictures of the tombstone of Lucille Emmons and Noah Gould and also the lovely pictue of them in my Ancestry.com Family Tree entitled RAMPY, WILKERSON, AND THEIR FAMILY CONNECTIONS and also in my personal family tree. Please consider that once a picture is put on ancestry.com, you will lose control of it as it will be copied without requesting permission. The Emmons are connected to my Wilkeron family with Mary Wilkerson marrying Loving Emmons back in the 1830s. Gail Wilkerson Rampy.
