Don't know if you are aware of how you receive notification of edits. I didn't until someone was waiting on me to process theirs and sent me a message.
One of the 'new' changes is that you don't receive a notification e-mail, you log in and look at your "Contributor Tools" and whalaaaa there they are.
Thanks.

RE: Grave of Jesse Alonzo Aldridge
I am not surprised that you don't remember as that was way back in 2012. You evidently put in the request and I fulfilled it. Don't know how you might have just now run across the response. You did answer me back then.

Richard Douglas Aldridge and Parents
Hello, If you are a son of Richard Douglas Aldridge - I have just found that he was my 5th cousin - on the Otto side.
I have been working on a family history of the Otto family for more years, miles and money than I care to think about but it has been a joyful journey.
My (our) 4th great grandfather Otto fought in the Revolutionary War. From information I provided to another 5th cousin (in Maryland) he and his SAR registrar have found that the company he fought in were actually spies for George Washington. We have had a 16 year old cousin enlist in the Union Army - Civil War and died in the infamous prison, Andersonville. We have numerous 'cousins' fight in the Civil War (on both sides). I have copies of a number of letters my own great grand father Otto wrote home when he was serving in the Civil War.
I am working on getting a book together on all of the information I have collected over the years so it won't be relegated to the dumpster some day. Would like to hear from you on more info on your branch. Linda King aka ms.sewnso@cox.net

OK, I will stop looking. If I come across something by accident, I'll let you know.

RE: Grave of Jesse Alonzo Aldridge
You are welcome. I have looked on Family Search to try and find a connection between Jesse and the Morse family, but haven't found anything. Just wonder why he was with the Morse family.
