RE: marriage s
Alright would you make sure I linked him to his correct second wife. As per a edit I was sent, the age difference makes me wonder but, anything is possibly as the times. I would gladly transfer the two memorials that I added to you so that you may edit and or write a bio to include family lines and links. They are buried in the same cemetery as my husband and his family. I added every stone that didnt have a page in 2007 from this cemetery. Well let me know please take care. Me margie emmons

Did your grandfather Allison Reynolds have more then one wife? Would you like me to transfer memorials to you?

Hi there
Jack (Allison Woodrow) Reynolds. b 1919 (not 1920 unless his obituary is wrong and his SS is wrong)

Anywho. Trying to pin down his exact day of death. I have a great uncle with the same nickname as Jack, died the same year and the same area but buried in another cemetery, born 1901.

I just thought if I had the right day at least someone else will not confuse them in the future

"Your Jack" has a brother with the same name as my Jack has, Elmer.

Very weird

Hope you're there soon, or rather here. :)

RE: hi
Are you referring to info on tombstones or other family trees?

When it comes to tombstones, sometimes you can only go by what you find on a tombstone and that often is only a birth and death year. It's better to have other records to back dates up, but often you don't get this luxury.

There are calculators online that can be used to calculate birth dates from a death date and a full age.

As for online trees, the info out there can be confusing. It can be time consuming sorting through the mess. I prefer to confirm what I find on other trees before I add it to my own tree. It's best to use a combination of obituaries, tombstones, online records, newspaper stories, and direct info from family members.

Occasionally I will add info I find on other trees to my tree if I can find no info anywhere else. Then I mark it on my tree with a note reminding me that it is unconfirmed info from someone else's tree.

There is a lot of wrong info out there in people's trees. You just have to do your own investigating to confirm or dismiss what you find. is a great place to build a family tree, is another good site.

RE: Thank you
then find the genealogy society in that county..they or the local library should have records back to 1940 or earlier I'm sure.

RE: Thank you
have you visited the counties to check their records? Where is he buried? Who handled the burial?

RE: george wetherbee
I don't know if you created the memorial or not, but I found where Nancy and her second husband were buried. The memorial was new, so I thought it might have been you. Her second husband's memorial is a year older.
