|I'm Don Edwards and from Texas. I have been researching Edwards, Nunley, Whitlock, McCord and Kuykendall for my family. It is a very satisfying experience to know about our forefathers and I am humbled to know it was not so easy to do the many things back then as it is today. I wish our nation would appreciate the hard work and dedication it took to make America what it is today. Find-A-Grave and Ancestry are an intrical part of my research. I consider it a privilege, whether related or not, to honor our past in this way. If there is anything I can do to help anyone with questions about the memorials feel free to ask and if I can help I will be happy to. Wishing everyone happy hunting .|
If you are a contributor and have a request or correction please use the proper method to notify me. That is through the "Edit" button. Doing this work I do find that I occasionally make mistakes and also accidently make duplicates. I always welcome these corrections. Find-A-Grave is growing, every day, every minute. It is a wonderful way to record our past. Please help make and keep it that way. Thank you.

|J. C. Hooper||Mollie Whitlock|
I accidentally deleted some words in my first message to you. I meant to say that I verified Mollie Whitlock's location by further identifying that Lot 26 where Mollie's buried is between the Shull and the Hanna lots.
|J. C. Hooper||Mollie Whitlock, Highland Cem., Lawton, OK|
I'm sorry to tell you that Mollie Whitlock does not have a grave marker. She is buried in Block 24, Lot 26, Space 1. I verified the location of the lot by further identifying that Lot 26 I posted a photo showing the lot that Mollie occupies and as a record that a photo was requested, and a grave marker was not found.
From my experience, when I see a memorial page at Highland Cemetery that doesn't have a date of birth, it "usually" indicates no grave marker--unless it's a military headstone or an infant. In 2001 a lady named Aggie Cochrane walked Highland Cemetery and recorded the headstones. Then she went through the cemetery record books and copied names, dates, maiden names, places of birth, etc., for people who didn't have grave markers. The cemetery manager verified that Aggie used the cemetery record books for a lot of the information, so that's probably where Mollie's date of death came from. Mollie's maiden name was Grover, and she was age 45 when she died. That information can be found in Aggie Cochrane's index is at http://www.interment.net/data/us/ok/comanche/highland/high_wewh.htm
Made the changes you suggested. If you want a transfer, just let me know.

I have added birth and death information and linked to parents and spouse. If you want a transfer, just let me know.
|Southern Roots||Ida Crim Transfer|
This memorial has been transferred to you.
Thanks, Southern Roots
I added two photos to your Commodore Nunley, WWWI Draft Card and his death certificate. Hope this helps. I believe this is the correct ones for him. I see his name with a "P" and an "R", but not sure which is correct.

|Christie Trapp||Pat Lacy|
I posted a note on Pat Lacy's bio page stating I never got anything accomplished from an edit I sent to her back in September 2010. Have a feeling she's not doing genealogy any longer. You're right about edit messages to Find A Grave - sometimes you get results, other times nada.
|Karen Manasco||Kuykendall Cemetery, Alabama|
Trying to locate the Kuykendall Cemetery near Winfield,AL in Fayette County to make pix of graves.
|Robin Knowles Miner||Links you did|
Don, How kind of you to honor my request to link the parents of James Baird! Many folks tend to ignore the effort this takes, but it helps researchers so much when they find an entire family. I guess they just don't want to share their knowledge! I am so thankful that you are pne who is willing to share. With kind reguards, Robin Miner
