I am the daughter of Lee & Jolane Collier Marchant and have been married to Roger Meredith for 40 years. Roger and I help my Mom with the Cave Springs Cemetery. We have lots of family in Cave Springs, Phillips and Elm Springs cemeteries. We will be happy to help find missing links or take pictures of these 3 cemeteries. My cell # is 479-640-1326.|

Hi Terry. I see that you took the photos for Cave Springs Cemetery and was wondering if you could tell me where it is. Would you mind, terribly, telling me how to get there, or what street/road it's on (it says Johnson Road on the main cemetery page, but, according to Google maps, there is no Johnson Road in Cave Springs...but there is a Johnson Avenue that looks to be about a block long)? If you could help me out, I'd really appreciate it and hope you are having a wonderful day. :)

Terry - My great-grandfather was Stewart/Steward's younger brother, Alfred Elder Collier. I've been researching this family for years. I like the fact that you can link people on this findagrave.com site. You can climb the family tree by clicking on each link. Right now I've got some missing links in the Collier tree but keep watching. I may get them all entered by Christmas. Wilda

Did you get my email about his wife, Bonnie? They have a single grave marker but there is no memorial page for her. If you add one, I will be happy to add the two photos I have for her.
Let me know and thank you for your kind response.

Please go to the memorial and ask for transfer there.

I linked them, thanks for the heads up, I usally do it but forgot. I am related, my 2nd great grandparets were Isabella Marchant and John Willis. Zada would be my 2nd cousin 4 times removed. I have been doing the Merchant/Marchants for a while now, huge family.
Merry Christmas to you

Terry: No trouble, really. It is a lovely graveyard out in the country and I enjoy the drive. I was just surprised to realize, after 2 years of photographing there, that the number pattern isn't logical. But, really, no problem at all.

Terry: I though you might find my story about finding your relative's grave interesting. The Capay Valley is a lovely agricultural area about 25 miles from where I live & about 15 from the Town of Woodland. It is a very 'cute' cemetery, in the country, surrounded by farmlands. It has lots of interesting headstones & a good map of the layout, plus it allows a lot of individual displays (je.g., bird feeders). Anyway, I hadn't really realized that the numbering of the blocks was somewhat haphazard until I started looking for it w/a friend. I have a small map, small in that it is very hard to read. But, plot 100, which is the potter's field (poor people, no headstones) was easy to find and your relative was in blk 96. Which I foolishly thought would be near plot 100. Nope! The row that blk 100 is in has blks 1 - 12 and then where 13 should be is plot 97, and then 98, 99, 100. We looked all around that area, could not find blk 96 at all. We gave up. A few days later, it occurred to me that I should look for blks with numbers in the 70s and 80s and I would expect to find the missing 90s. Which is what happened. Blk 96 is at the other end of the cemetery, on the opposite side from blk 97. I have no idea why they numbered the plots the way they did but I finally found her! Anyway, I am sorry it took so long!
