Oliver Stephen Puccini photos
I recently viewed the find a grave link for Oliver Puccini. Noticed photos were added in March of this year. Oliver Puccini was my grandfathers brother and I would be very interested in talking to the owners of the photos. I have photos of other family members.

Thank u so much for the info. I went to school with Randy's daughter Amy. We hung around a lot. He was a wonderful man. My son went to his church and was really upset by his passing.

RE: Esther Marion Weersing
Hi Mari, Thanks for the nice note. I have so much more info and photos to share. Just a matter of finding the time to do it. I started a Facebook group called "Weersing Family Internet Reunion" and am trying to link all the Weersing cousins together so that we can share stories and photos. I don't know whether Joy Ann or
David are on Facebook. I haven't talked to them in a while. Give them my regards next time you talk to them.

RE: Photos at Lakewood
Good morning! I have not photographed the Ginther Wilharm grave marker. I was just letting you know that we finally had some success at Lakewood. I still need to know the location of Ginther's burial in the cemetery. I am not sure if you have written to the cemetery for the information. Ace

Photos at Lakewood
I completed two photo requests at Lakewood today. They were for Charles and Margaret Lakewood if you would like to see them.

I have asked the photo requestor to send me the information as to how she got the map. I spent about 15 minutes trimming the grass in order to get pictures that showed the entire marker.

Lakewood Update
Hi! I am not sure if it has come up, but just so we are on the same sheet of music, Lakewood is a privately owned cemetery. They do things differently. Two of their primary concerns are privacy and the legal implications of what they do with the information they have on hand.

Although many people are buried at Lakewood the fact that they are buried there is not necessarily public information. Before they give any information out they actually check with the current lot owner to see if they want any information given out. They also have what they call "red flag" burials where they contractually cannot give out any information on the burial. They will not even acknowledge that the person is buried there, although you are free to wander the grounds and see if they are buried there. The unwillingness to give out information has to do with the legal implications of giving out information that they should not. They do not give out lot numbers as a part of not providing information about burials. The maps given out only have a mark of the approximate burial location in a section.

Mr. Orr, although a wonderful gentleman and extremely knowledgeable about the cemetery, is not the owner of the cemetery. Although he was willing to assist us, the owner would not give out information on 55 burials at once - especially to someone unknown to him (the owner). Part of the concern is that none of the people posting on Find A Grave are known - they could be identity thieves, criminals, etc. But if we already have the name, birth, and death dates, it seems unlikely that any real information could be obtained from the grave marker (if it exists)?

I was told by Mr. Orr that the owner will entertain a written request for the burial location for only three people.

What are your thoughts about all of this?
