Hi there! Would you like to take the memorial? With the last name 'Forester' you're probably more closely related than I am- my great grand mother was his wife's oldest sister, so I'm not directly of their line.

My research is still rather bare-bone on Foresters so all data is helpful!

Roscoe Smith # 55678420
BettyF (#47054050) maintains his memorial. I only provided an indirect link within his father Albert's Bio. I had notified Betty previously of the need for Roscoe's parental links. Perhaps you could try contacting her, and maybe perhaps she will transfer his memorial to you, if you desire.
The following were the contents of your previous message to me:
"Albert Smith # 65741990 Family
Thank you for the postings of the Albert Smith Family. I do have one more link for you to include in his list of children. Roscoe # 55678420. Roscoe married Pearl L Forester 28 Sept 1919 in Llano Co Texas."
My best regards, -L

RE: Old Gonzales City Cemetery
I transferred all the Foresters to you. I have the listing for the Rancho cemetery that was transcribed in 2004. It list two Foresters Willie & Zedie D Forester. The two Foresters in the City Cemetery are from the City Cemetery books. The spelling isn't always right the dates either. I look up the death certificates and match them to the person. Not that I trust them either. Lot of mistakes on them. That's why I never post them with my memorials. But I don't care if others do.
I'm glad that a family member came along to claim them. That's why I do it.

RE: Mary Barnes Elledge
I'm glad you found the information and that you contacted me about it. I go to the Barnes Cemetery about once a year and try and clean it up some, especially the immediate familiy. It's sad the condition that it is in but there are others around Dekalb County a whole lot worse. George and Bridgett are also buried there but don't have headstones that can be found. I would be interested in exchanging info on the Barnes family if you want. I do have a lot on Mary's children and some on her parents, I do have George's will. The Forrestor's is where I need a litte help so let me know if you are interested.

Mike

Hello and welcome
Hello, Suzanne, and welcome to Find-A-Grave! I want to thank you for adding the picture of Judith Jarrett Batey's grave marker to her memorial page. Now, if we could only find a picture (I wish!) of Henry Holmes Batey's marker, we'd be all set.
