Bio and Links
Bio Photo Very interested in genealogy. Recently found a few cousins on my Dad's side that I didn't know. My mother is from Japan and I would love to find info on her family, but it's difficult.

I am a wife and a stay-at-home-mom of 2. Our daughter is Autistic but she's the sweetest little girl you'd ever meet. Our son is a rambunctious little 5 year old, full of energy! :)

Willing to go and take photos in the Choctaw area. Love to help out others, as I have been helped. :)

RE: Photo by you on my Dad's listing
Everyone has their system. Some just add family members. Some add obits from the local newspaper. Some like to wander the cemeteries wherever they are and take pics and add them to findagrave. Some like to record a whole cemetery and add it to findagrave.

You just need to make sure you are not making duplicates of a memorial. Type the person's name in a new search and see if they are already there or if you know of a particular cemetery where someone is buried and you look in it and the person is not there and you want to add them, you can do that.

People can also request photos of their loved ones' memorials and you can be a volunteer photo taker for your area. I did that for awhile but there are so many people in my area willing to take photos, I decided to let them do it.

There are many, many ways you can contribute - you'll find your niche if you are interested in pursuing options with findagrave. -- Teresa

RE: Photo by you on my Dad's listing
Hi Elizabeth -

First off, let me welcome you to Findagrave. I think you are gonna love it, especially if you are into genealogy at all.

Second, I didn't know your dad. I was up that way while visiting my daughter and we went to the cemeteries around there so I could take some pictures to add to Findagrave.

Let me know if you have any other questions I might be able to help you with and I will do my best. -- Teresa
