Your request about the Shaws
Your request about the location of the two stones 78533229 and 78533206 seem to be nezt to each other. They are both in the same section of the cemetery. I would have to go to the cemetery, to verify. remind me in the spring.

Hi Kathy! We have been gone for 3 days as it was our 34th wedding anniversary. We went to Alpena to celebrate and also to work on my husbands dads side of the famiy. We were able to find some amazing things. My husbands father is 85 and he still had a few unturned stones he wanted to know about. His roots are in Alpena but he had never been there in his whole life so my husband and I took the trip to see what we could uncover for him. One thing we found for my father in law was his great grandmother. The Keyes have been doing their ancestry for 20 years and were unable to find her as they believed she never left Canada. But we found her place of burial and her stone and burial records 1813 to 1891, so my father in law was stunned and we were thrilled to do this for him as his health is failing. Anyway as far as the book goes I dont have the brand new one but I have a little older addtion. We know the writter and he travels all over including Canada to gather info. We are actually in the book. He loves to be contacted as to who you are so he can put you in the book. I actually keep meaning to get the book.

My husbands line is George-Edward-Fredrick-Harold-Arlene-then my husband Bob. Do you have the book "The History of the Jackson's ". Dale Jackson wrote it and it is about 600 pages long. I wrote another reply similiar to this but it disappeared, so I wrote it again.Sorry if you get this twice.
