|Hello- About 15 years ago while going through an old trunk that my Mom kept all of her goodies in.we found a picture of her grabdmother and grandfather whom she had told me that they came over from Ireland during the potato famine. My Mom knew nother more than that as they had died before she was born.I loved those pictures and they fairly brought me to tears at the wonder of it. From then on I was hooked and talked to my husband about joining Ancestry.com. I did and here I am at 64 today and even though I cant get out much I enjoy doing cemeteries and putting them on here. My husband, bless his heart, takes a hundred pictures for me at a time and I have a list of burials at the cemetery and within 2 days he has to go take me more. I keep him busy but it is good therapy for me. Thank goodness for Find a Grave in so many ways.|
Also, if there are members that would like memorials transferred to them, I would be more than happy to do it if the memorial is not a direct link to me. Just please let me know. If anyone wants to use my pictures they are quite welcome to do so. Barb

Hi, Barbara. I am curious about the connection between John Lewis and Isabella Whitaker Lewis buried in Benham Cemetery in Ripley County, Indiana. You have them as husband and wife. Do you have a source for that info? I'm wondering because my 2nd gr-grandfather was John Lewis, son of John Lewis and Sarah Ann Green. He was married to my grandmother Susana Staton in 1884 and they had 7 children. However, I could never find out when he died. It is possible that he divorced my grandmother. She was married several times. If you have anything concrete on the relationship between that John Lewis and Isabella Whitaker, I would appreciate it. Thank you for your help.

Hello, want to tell you that above memorial for Lulu Prentice, and 90864316 for James E Prentice is a sibling relationship, not that of a couple. They are very distant cousins of mine; found them in census reports for Ripley County, Indiana.
Thank you so much for your time, Eva
|Brenda Smith||Uncle John Daugherty Find A Grave Memorial# 53599212|
Received this message from Rod Dailey. Could you please correct your photo placement?
Last week at the Otter Creek Cem I noted that Uncle John Daugherty has a large stone with dates etc and is not the stone pictured on this posting, Find A Grave Memorial# 53599212.
The military stone pictured is J. J. Daugherty and is south across the road in Section A rather than section B where "Uncle John" is buried next to Hugh Daugherty.
Thanks for all your work.
Your help on this would be appreciated.

Hi, if you don't have any connection to Virginia S. Dorrell #133289440, would you transfer her and her husband Malvin to me? They are my grandparents. Thanks.

You added a grave marker picture to my Great Aunt's memorial page Find A Grave Memorial# 91834255
It is a grave marker for someone else and I can not figure out how to delete it.
