I've only just recently jumped down the rabbit-hole of researching my family's lineage...and I'm addicted! I'm glad to join FindAGrave so I can give to others as I'm so thankful others have contributed for my benefit.|

I was busy working the memorial when you posted the headstone photos so was pleasantly surprised when I saved my work and there were the photos. Thanks so much for the quick response. I've never seen such a happenstance before. Also, her husband died at the Oregon State Tuberculosis Hosp. in Salem which was interesting to me as I never knew of its existence. When I saw that he was a "patient" I immediately thought of the State Hosp. You done good, getting those photos. Thanks again!

Hi! You took a photo of a grave headstone practically covered by a tree (amazing photo!) and that person was just who I was searching for! I've created a memorial for her and wish for you to copy her headstone photos onto her memorial. Right now you have them on her husband's memorial. You may leave them there, but I'd also like copies for her memorial. Their names are Richard E. & Ida May Lord. Pls also add the info you have on the photo captions. If you have questions, pls contact me via my email address. Thanks! P.S. If you don't have time to do this, then give me permission and I'll do the copying.

I just wish I could have found a marker, but at least we know the general area, and he is listed as buried there. There's a possibility he has a flat marker that's partially buried. I'll check again this fall after the grass has died back and see if I can find any hint of a marker. (They don't like us digging up grass looking for flat markers.) Let me know if you need any newspapers articles or things like that. I can get them from film at the state archives.

I wasn't able to locate a marker for Samuel, so it's possible it's unmarked. I'm going to look again tomorrow after the grounds have dried some from the heavy rains. I located a marker that included Lester, Eva, James and James Jr., and Osie Huffer. Samuel is listed as being next to them. I was searching in the rain and took a picture of their marker which I can post to indicate the general area, but first I want to make sure Samuel's marker wasn't buried under grass.
Take care-and let me know if there's any other help you could use from this end. I work a block away from state archives- if you need any obits looked up let me know.
I found the three Wilsons in Orangeport Union Cemetery, and I found a number of other Wilsons that I'll be adding in the near future.

Hi! I went out to the above cemetery to photograph your requested pictures of Daniel, Eleanor and Mary Wilson. I walked the cemetery twice(it isn't that big) and I could not locate the stones. I am going to contact the town that the cemetery is in and see if they can be of some help. I will let you know what I find out.

You're Welcome GC,
Yours was a tricky one because of her name. I kept looking for Anna -- when I should have been looking for Marie in the data base. Once I figured that out, finding the grave and taking the photo was no problem.
Have a good day
