Watson Flowers
Barbara, I left you a message on Facebook messenger. It is Watson flowers obituary. Watson and Elizabeth had a daughter that married and lived in Jacksonville Illinois. The obituary appeared in the Jacksonville gazette on March 12, 1912. It says Watson passed away on March 9, 1912. It does list guy, Norman and my great grandmother Bertha as his children.

RE: Bertha Clara Johnson
Thanks for getting back to us. We have the 2nd husband as Byron Levi Wagner, they were living in Carroll County, Illinois in the 1920 census. They were married January 2, 1907 in Muscatine. (Record says BRYON not Byron). After that, we lose her, except there is an Anna Wagner living in East St. Louis in 1940 listed as widowed that fits her birth date and place. Do you know anything about her death? There is a family tree on ancestry that says she died in Illinois with no dates and is buried in Paulina, Iowa.

Thanks again, OZARKCHERYL

RE: Rose Solomon #147291976
I have Bertha's parents are Charles Johnson and Anna Matilda Proctor Johnson. In the Lime City Cemetery just north of my hometown there is a burial record for C. Johnson in 1906, which a friend has just changed to Charles, so I need to talk with her about that.
I believe Anna Matilda married Byron Levi Wagner in Muscatine after Charles died and first lived in Savannah Illinois then East St. Louis, Illinois. I see Byron and Anna in the 1920 Census in Savannah, I cannot find a 1930 census with either of them, and in 1940 she is a widow in East St. Louis.
Does this agree with who you have as Bertha's parents?

RE: Rose Solomon #147291976
Hello. I would be happy to transfer Rose to you. I am looking for information on her mother Bertha Clara Johnson Schmitt. Bertha's sister, Mildred "Anna" Johnson Kelley was the wife of Thomas B. Kelley. Thomas's father, Thomas Jefferson Kelley was the brother of my GG Grandfather, Absalom Kelley of Wilton, Iowa.
Mildred "Anna" died in Davenport in 1920 and her obituary revealed that Runge Funeral Home in Davenport handled her remains, and according to their records, Mildred's body was shipped somewhere for burial, but they do not know where.
I was hoping to find out more family information from Bertha's obituary, but I lose track of her after the 1930 census.

Harber family
My mother's father was Thomas Harber a brother to Charles Harber. I know vey little about my great uncle's family. Apparently he was married twice and had a daughter by his first wife, Mary Elizabeth Flowers.???

Oliver Sims
Hi,
I was looking at George and Tabitha's sites and then read about Nancy Sims. Did a quick look and came across this...http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GSln=sims&GSfn=oliver&GSbyrel=all&GSdyrel=all&GSob=n&GRid=11183352&df=all& Have you reviewed it. I really don't know about the Sims family so didn't have anything to evaluate it with.

I'm connected through Wm. A. Flowers, George's brother.
