James Gunn
Greetings: I fulfilled your photo request today for James Gunn, buried in Chenoweth Run Cemetery, Louisville, Jefferson, Kentucky. I wanted to lt you know I plan on returning and getting better photo. The stone faces east, and I was there mid-afternoon, meaning I was facing the sun and the face of the stone was in the shadow. The stone is considerably deteriorated, but legible. I think it will be more so if we can get a morning photo. I can also take a number of shots showing different angles, and including some of the rest of the cemetery. It is a nice little neighborhood cemetery, scenic and peaceful. Let me know if you want aditional photo's, with specific requests for hoq you want them. It is like 2 miles from my house, so no troubles.

The Everhart Family
There appear to be 3 Everhart's buried in the area of this large Family stonem Mary, Wesley, and Elliott. No names or dates on stone. You have a James E. Everhart and it is possible that the E. is for Elliott. Nothing found for Arthur Everhart but his death certificate indicates burial here so likely nearby his parents.

John and Anna Meier
Update! The Meiers are in lot 60, Section 6 but 299 is extremely close. I will keep looking though, but there are a lot of plots with no markers here.

Request for John Meier and Anna Meier photos.
I know another fellow has claimed your request but while I was there the other day and had a section map/plot layout handy, I took a look. Good news and bad news. Good news is that there are a whole passel of Meiers in section 6, lot 299. Bad news is none of them are Anna or John. I have photos of those that are there, but there is a good chance those two were interred without a marker. It happens, but I have a strong feeling they are with the others there. Perhaps you have some records which link the rest of the family. I can send the pictures if you like, but I did not wish to post them in the event that I am wrong. Anyway, I hope this helps somehow.

It would be so very helpful if you went to and found the locations of your requests. It would sure help get me out in the field sooner.
