RE: Joseph E.
Hi Patrick,
I enjoyed reading great-uncle Ed's biography, you did a great job updating his memorial page. The pictures are good of him. He looks so much like my dad in later years....can definately see family resemblance.
I've wondered also, what became of Miles A. Brady. The only record I have for him is a photocopy of his 1918 WWI Draft Reg. Card. He lived in Decatur, IL, worked in Monticello, IL. Last time I checked Ancestry.com, search results showed a Miles Brady in Oregon...no specific location or extended info. Perhaps he went there & lost contact with family. That's very similar to Ed's and grandma's sister, Emma Christine Brady (twin of Mary Josephine). Dad called her "Aunt Chris." I cannot find what became of her from 1932-1957. She & husband Joseph Henry French moved from Louisville to Henderson area, aft. 1932. I believe I found Joseph on 1940 Census in Evansville, IN, at Little Sisters of the Poor. Shows him born in KY & married, his age fits the birth year I had for him, from another record. No Emma C. found on the 1940 census. She must have been deceased bef. Apr 1957. She's not mentioned in the 1957 obituaries of her twin sister and grandma Anna.
I have the memorial #'s for Anna's grandchildren: Clyde #25889582; Thomas "Tommy" #110137793; Elizabeth "Betty Ray" #19752698; William "Billy Joe" #42128640.
Several days ago I updated dad's bio., will add some pictures soon.

Joseph E. "Ed" Brady
The Bradys were strong and resourceful. Although I was only 5 years old when last visited Anna, in July 1957, I remember her. Grandma knew a lot about natural herbs and medicinal plants for wellness & healing. Once, when her son John William was young he got double pneumonia. The family doctor basically gave up. Grandma diligently went to work to save him and did.
Would be happy to transfer Ed's memorial to you...just let me know. The picture of Ed feeding the squirrel is so sweet. I have a pet dove and love animals.
I've lots of pictures to add to my memorials...just need to set aside time to do so....days are very busy. Best regards.

Joseph E. "Ed" Brady
Hi Patrick,
It was so nice to hear back from you, and about great-uncle Ed. The only picture of Ed that I had was from a newspaper article in Union Co. Advocate, 28 Jan. 1976. It was titled "Brady to Celebrate 100th." A photocopy of article was sent to me in 1988 by a cousin who had visited Morganfield. I didn't know grandma had a brother who lived until 1977. My parents moved from Louisville to California in 1945. Dad worked at a Navy base and I was born out there. We would come back to KY as often as we could...loved those summertime visits with all the relatives in Louisville. After mom passed away in 1971, dad (Raymond) traveled by himself in his motor home between CA & KY. That was at times a worry, as he traveled alone up into his early 80's. He would have loved to have visited his Uncle Ed if he had only known he was residing in Morganfield. Dad lived to age 91, looked alot like his Brady side of family. Dad's sister always said I look like Anna Regina. My husband & I moved to Kentucky 10 years ago from CA. We love it here, but I dearly miss the ones who have passed on.

Joseph E. "Ed" Brady
Patrick, thank you for adding pictures of Joseph "Ed" Brady to his memorial. Wish I could have met him during his lifetime. Ed's youngest sister Anna Regina was my grandmother. Of her 5 grandchildren, I'm the last one living. I have happy memories of visiting her in Louisville when I was very young.

Donald Wynn Collins
Noticed that you have Donald Wynn Collins as the son of Ben and Jane Collins. Actually Ben and Jane had no children. Donald Wynn is the son of J. Everett Collins (Preach) and Alyne Robinson Collins Cain. Doing a great job…keep up the good work.

RE: Bonnie Pearl Fearn Nicklaus
I copied the bio over from your memorial to the other one and sent edits for the sons who were attached to your memorial. I was worried they wouldn't still be there after the merging but it looks like they came through okay. So don't worry about the edits. And I transferred the original memorial to you.

Thanks for your help getting this corrected,
April
