Bio and Links
I'm retired and living in the middle (sorta) of Montana. I had not known much about my ancestry until I started poking around on the net. I was reared near the Canadian border and most family was far, far away so they weren't part of daily conversations on the farm. It's nice to make connections now though. This site has been vital in the search for my kin and I'm grateful to all of the volunteers that provide photos, information and maintenance.

Two Children Passed Away
The home of David Simmon, a farmer living near the Randall dump was visited by death, taking two of the children who have been fighting a strenuous battle against a complication of typhoid fever, pneumonia and the influenza. Three children and the mother were suffering from these complicated diseases at the same time.
The first death occurred Sunday morning when Elizabeth Craig, a step daughter passed away. She was fifteen years of age and resided in this community since the arrival of her step father some time ago. The following day her brother George Craig, age twelve followed and the two children were laid to rest at a double funeral held at the German Lutheran Church, Rev. Werner officiating.
Almost the entire community north of town turned out Wednesday and dug the fifty four acres of beets which Mr. Simon has raised and hauled them to the Randall dump. These were the first beets to be received by the sugar company and it was done under special arrangements to enable the neighbors to complete the harvest of the unfortunate family's crop before the main harvest starts to-day.

RE: David & Lydia Redfern Remy
Hello Nancy,
I cannot make a link to their son buried in Montana. Whomever created the memorial for him has to do that. They will need the memorial numbers for his parents and when they do the edit, there is a box for the father's number and the same for mother.

Rose Babcock's relatives
Nancy, if you go the the memorial, the person who manages it is named Trish, she is a relative. I know Rose had a daughter named Rosa and a son named named Lee. I think Trish lives in the Thermopolis Area and might be able to help you....DC O'reilly (Rose was my great grandmother's Mary Kotz' sister)
