Wilhelmine Voigt Kuhlow
Hi...I have recently discovered another line of grandparents, aunts, etc., while researching my family tree. Wilhelmine Voigt Kuhlow ,Find A Grave memorial #71192247, is my 4th great grand aunt. Her father is my 5th great grandfather.
You have posted a lot of information and pictures for this family. I was wondering where you got the information and may I post it on my family tree on
Thank you!

RE: Robert Thomas Johnson
Hello Pam.
I will have to look through some papers. At that time the Methodist Church was Methodist-Episcopal. I don't know if this particular church is still in existence but records would be stored with the Georgia Methodist Assembly (not sure how they name themselves today). Most of this group of Methodists might use United Methodist with their name, such as the Cherokee Corner United Methodist Church in Oglethorpe County, GA.

I haven't spent much time at all looking through this angle. But I do know that the Methodists in Georgia kept records of their congregants' births, baptisms, and deaths. I think Google searches could help find something on Nancy Jackson.

If I run across anything, I'll get in touch.

Harriet A. Johnson
Thanks for the info about Harriet. I just saw your reply to a question from someone else. I had little info on her except that she was married to Samuel and was listed in the 1850 Census with him and their first child. I however show that she had 3 children: Charles Carroll, Samuel T. Jr., and Robert Garnet. They are all listed with Samuel and Mary Ann in the 1860 and 1870 Census from Sumter County. I know that Charles Carroll is buried in Rose Hill Cemetery in Macon, GA. with some of his family.
I am interested in following this line further back as well. Samuel T. was my husband's g-g-grandfather.

Thanks again, Sharon

Harriet A. Feagin at the Anthony Garnett Sr. Family Cemetery:

Was Harriet A. Feagin a wife of this Samuel T. Feagin? If so, I would like to link her.

I added a refined birthplace name, and linked him to his son of same name but could not find wife, or other kids. Wonder if this is one of the kids:

Anyway, no relation. I will add your notes for anyone else to see on the record.

RE: Ann Canfield
Pam, I sent an email to you and a copy of it to David Canfield. His father headed a Canfield Association and he has continued his Dad's research so he may have something on your branch. I will also keep my eyes open and see if I can find anything. My Canfield's are in MOM's ANCESTRAL LINES though there are bits and pieces in several of my trees.
Hope this helps.

RE: Ann Canfield
Hi- are you on I have lots on that tree there.

My ancestor Is Alzina Varno Canfield who married Enoch Emery. Their son, William is my great grandfather on my maternal line. William and Jennette Cline had Alzina (Nina) Emery and that is my Mom's mother. Nina married Isaac Tamer and my mother, Beatrice, married Elmer Fayette. I am the oldest of their 7 children.

Alzina was the daughter of Almon S. Canfield and Nancy Cromac. Almon was the son of Sylvanus Canfield and Ruth Benedict. Sylvanus was the son of Israel and Mary Sackett Canfield of Arlington, Vt. Israel was the son of Azariah and Mary/Mercy Baldwin. Off the top of my head I believe the next 2 were Jeremiah m Alice Hine, and Thomas and Phebe Crane. I have been gathering everything I can on the Canfield's and lines that have merged into it.

If you look for nancyfayettelamar on ancestry that is me.
