Sorry it has taken so long to get back with you. I transcribe micro film for Lincoln County. Below might be of interest to you. I believe the cemetery you want it is the Marmet cemetery. If you dont find a headstone there... you may want to do some checking. Around 1980 i lived near the Marmet area and the interstate was coming thru back then. We protested moving the whole Marmet cemetery as there was a lot of historical building also on the lot. The outcome was good but some graves down on the lower side were moved. I have no idea where they went thou.

1/27/1921 –J. K. Jarrell, 60, farmer of near Griffithsville, died at a Huntington hospital at 2:45 o'clock Saturday afternoon of blood poisoning. Some time ago he cut his hand on a saw. The slight scratch became infected. Mr. Jarrell was one of the leading citizens of his district and served as Justice of the Peace for a number of terms. He is survived by five daughters, Mrs. Julia Lovejoy, of Palermo, Mrs. N. C. Leonhart, of Russell, Ky., Mrs. Jason Lambert, of Fallsburg, Ky., Mrs. J. F. Russell and Mrs. O. W. White, both of Huntington, and one son, Frank Jarrell, of Woodville. Funeral services were held at Marmet Monday.

1/27/1921 - John Jarrell, Magistrate for Duval District, died at Kessler-Hatfield hospital last Friday. He was suffering from blood poison, and it was necessary to amputate his arm to save his life, but died before the surgeons in charge had started to amputate. His remains were carried to Monette, near Charleston, where they were interred. He leaves a wife and several married children, and was consider one of Lincoln county very best citizens.
