Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am a life long resident of Fort Worth, Texas. I have been researching my families genealogy since 1975.
All of my memorals are my ancestors, or extended family. If you have any questions, or would like something added please feel free to ask.

I am researching FANNING GRISSOM LAWSON BRUSH and those associated on my Mothers side.
I am researching CLARK BUTLER HOLMSLEY KITTLE and those associated on my fathers side. All in Texas.

My husbands family that I am researching are BROWN McPHERSON BLACKBURN MANIRE.
If you are related to any of these families in Texas then please let me know.

Please check out my TEXAS Confederate Soldiers. They represent every branch of my family.

A Poem I found on this site:
We are connected...my child and I...by an invisible cord...not seen by the eye...It's not like the cord that connects us 'till birth ...this cord can't be seen by any on earth....This cord does its work...right from the start...It binds us together....attached to my heart...I know that it's there...though no one can see...the invisible cord from my child to me......The strength of this cord is hard to describe...It can't be destroyed...it can't be denied.....It's stronger than any cord man could create....It withstands the test...can hold any weight.....And though you are gone...though you are not here with me....This cord is still there...but no one can see......It pulls at my heart...I am bruised...I am sore....But this cord is my lifeline...as never before......I am thankful that God connects us this way....A mother and child....death can't take it away!

RE: Harold Lee Spears
Hi Virginia! Actually, Harold lived about 3 blocks from me in Jacinto City where I grew up. I visited him quite a few times, and he would tell me some amazing stories from his life. I would go there to see his raccoon's and just have a good talk! I'm not related to them, but was just a very good friend. Harold would do anything to help someone else. He was a very warm-hearted gentleman. Thank you for your message and I wish you and your family many blessings.

RE: Bill Gooseneck McDonald 1866-1950
Ms. Brown: You need to contact the person who created the memorials for Wm. Madison McDonald Sr. & Jr. That person, as indicated on the memorials, is Wm. Barritt. The information I posted was gotten off the internet. I posted the added information because I was appalled by the content shallowness & grammatical carelessness of Mr. Barritt. As the saying goes, "If it's worth doing it's worth doing well." I wish you success in your endeavor.

My connection is only slight. My g-g-grandmother's sister married John Arch Wood's brother James Riley Wood. James Riley Wood's g-g-granddaughter lives here in Graham. Her name is Connie Dooley. You can find her on Facebook.
