Additional info and corrections are very welcome. If anyone wants to take over the management of their family's memorial from me, just ask; don't be shy. Feel free to use my headstone photos too.|
My contributions to Find-A-Grave are two-fold. First, I like to provide information for other genealogists in their hunt for new data on their family. Secondly, I want to create a nice memorial tribute for the deceased so that family and friends can visit it and leave messages perhaps. Everyone should be remembered.
Please do not post obituaries on my memorials, especially in the Leave Flowers spot. Per Find A Grave guidelines, obituaries are discouraged. Paraphrasing from an obituary is fine, and I'm happy to post that.
Please do not "guess" where someone is buried. Find A Grave will lose its value and creditability if slipshod postings continue to proliferate. We are the spokespeople for the deceased; let's serve them well.

Thanks for letting me know about my uncle Laury's burial. I was told by another cousin that is where he was buried and I took her for her word. Guess she didn't know the whole story. Anyway I have corrected it and now have changed his burial.

You said her lst husband was Alexander Falconer and that her "Middle" name was "Redpath" and that the "Maiden" name was also "Falconer? Is this true?

Thanks for the note. Simplest fix was for me to add my picture to your memorial, and delete mine.

Thanks Kathie. Can you tell me how I go about adding a grave to the website? I have 3 others at Pajaro Valley that are not listed. Thanks so much.

Hi Kathie! sorry I can not figure out quite how this works. I am not sure what is involved in "sponsoring" my father's memorial, but I am sure that I would want to do it. If you can tell me how it's done, that would be great. I have at least 3 others in that same cemetery that I would also like to add info and pictures to. My father's legal name was Jackie, he went by Jack, so I think that was part of the confusion. Let me know what I need to do. Thanks so much!

Hi Kathie! Thank you so much for what you do. I see that you have put in the info for my father. I have a son, and grandparents at the same cemetery and can't find them. I am also new at geneology, and took over for my aunt, and today we just completed our family history back to 1640. I am hoping to touch base with other "hunters" as I am missing some info for some of my family, when and where they are buried. I also signed up to volunteer as a helper or whatever it's called. I lived near Sacramento CA and I know that there are lots of pioneer cemeteries here with loads of historical value. Any advice or mentoring you can offer would be great! Thank you so much again for taking care of my dad and putting some flowers on his page. He always had the nicest yard in the neighborhood, and loved flowers! :) Tam

Thanks for the death date from the CA death index. I tend to consider that a more accurate source than obits, so changed her dod to May 8....
