Your grave is and may be the last and only mark left to this world. When researching genealogical records is always nice to find a place my ancestors are resting. Please consider other people's ancestors with the same respect as your own. Who knows they could have been friends in their lifetime.|

She is my 4th cousin. I am working on the family tree and would like to know if and how you are related. Would love to share any family info with you.

THANK YOU so much for correcting where your grandfather is buried. I was told by the coordinator of the McIntosh County USGENWEB that he was bruied in the Davis Family Cemetery. I will gladly transfer his memorial to your family if you submit it through the edit option with your profile name and number.
May I make one small request. Would you please leave what I wrote about him, or at least a shortened version of it. Mr. Davis has a VERY VERY special place in my family. I spent the first 13 years of my life in Eufaula, and as long as I can remember, my folks went to the dances in the Armory on Saturday nights to dance to Harmon Davis. For my earliest memories they would take me with them, and I would sit on the sideline and watch all the good folks dance. The event of the "whistling contest" is one of the stories that my dad always would have to retell at family reunions years later. Three generations have had to endure that story over the years !!! They both respected and like Mrs. Davis. I am HONORED to meet his grandson.

I transferred Samuel and Catherine to you because after researching in Ancestry.com I was confused by the differing wives and locations. Hopefully you can correct any errors I might have made...they belong to you as you are their grandchild.
