|Only child of Dorothy Hennis Gaston Akers and James Littrell Akers. Mother only daughter of Essie Maude Clark married to John Homes Gaston of Chester, South Carolina. Father one of three sons of Henry and Berta Akers, Salem, Virginia. James Littrell has been previously married to Daisy Akers and had two daughters prior to his marriage to Dorothy Gaston Akers. A second cousin has an indepth Gaston family tree however the Akers and Littrell trees are very sparse.|

It looks rather run down. I was wondering if they actually held church services still. If you go to Brushy Fork Cemetery and click on the pic I added to the cemetery page, you will see how it looked on April 27, 2012. That is when I took that pic.

Norma Jean is my second cousin. She and I are in frequent contact.
I have added her to his and her mother's memorials.
