My maiden name is Veasman, mother maiden is Copeland, great grandparents were Thompson and Barnharts and great-great grandparents are Pendletons, etc. |
My husband's family are Pemberton's and Bond's in and around the Iberia and Brumley area. Weitz's around Tuscumbia and St. Clair from Eldon and Illinois area. Searching the various branches of ancestors to learn where they immigrated from.
I live in Iberia, mother of 2 young men and been married over 22 years.
(Any pictures I've taken are free for the taking, glad to be able to provide)

I located her headstone and uploaded the photo with a comment to her memorial#100441306 on Findagrave.com at Burd Family Cemetery, Osage County Missouri.
If you are a member of Ancestry.com, I have more past Pendleton generations in my Ancestry.com tree which is titled Carroll Family Tree. This tree is public. As you may know, we descended from Phillip Pendleton who first came to America in 1674. He became the founder of the Pendleton family in Virginia. The descendants of Phillip are well documented. However, I have not added a great deal of information on the early generations here in America. Phillip's lineage can be traced back to Siward Pendleton born circa 1246 in England. I just ordered through Amazon the book "Descendants of Phillip Pendleton, a Virginia Colonist, by David Ellis Pendleton, but I have yet to receive it. If you are not a member of Ancestry.com I can give you an invitation which will enable you to view the tree, although you will receive regular updates when I add information to my tree.
As an aside, I remember the Veasman name from when I visited my Aunt and Uncle, Jim & Mildred Howard. Mildred was my mother's sister. My Uncle & Aunt lived 4 or 5 miles north of St. Elizabeth on the Old St. Thomas Highway and were friends with the Veasmans.
After reading your bio here on Findagrave, we must be distant cousins. My Great Great Grandparents were William Pendleton and Martha Ann Ballengee. William Pendleton was the son of William Pendleton and Florentine Isbell. I continue to try and determine the year of death of William Pendleton and Martha Ballengee Pendleton and their place of burial.
Who were your Great Great Grandparent Pendleton's?
|Doug Carroll||Garland Ambrose|
Thank you for the photo of Garland Ambrose's Headtone.
|D & J Cloninger||Homer Ashmore|
Thank you ever so much for the photograph of Homer's headstone. It means a lot to us for you to take the time to go out and get it. We certainly appreciate it as it would be a long time before we could travel to this part of MO to get it ourselves.

Thanks for all the updates. I know it has been considerable work. Gail

Thanks so much for getting her headstone pic. My Barnhart family seems to fill the Stokes cemetery and these pics help to much. I wondered if I may use the pics in my family researching? Gail
|Terry Burd||Howell L Burd|
Thank you for getting the photo of Howell Burd's stone. I appreciate your time and trouble. Have you ever heard mention of the Burd Family Cemetery? I believe it to be in or around Babbtown, MO.
