I contribute to Find A Grave because I know what a valuable resource it can be and I try to do the research to add to the memorial (although I am terribly far behind!). I spend ALOT of time in the local library searching for obituaries. I am a fan of the Flip Pal mobile scanner and recommend it to anyone. I started looking through books and old yearbooks and enjoy uploading headshots for my own as well as other memorials. I will gladly change information on memorials I have created if you provide your source of information and I check it out to be true. I will gladly accept any memorials that you do not wish to maintain, especially if there is research to be done on them.|
If I have spent my time and money on a memorial, please consider that before asking me for a transfer. If you insist on a transfer, I now believe in the reciprocal transfer courtesy...if you want one, then offer me one. You first.
Note: Please feel free to use any photos that I have posted for your personal use or to upload to other websites such as Ancestry.com. Be careful using headshots or other personal photos that I did not take myself. I always quote my source in the caption of the photo. You may also use information found in the bio.
**Note: I have written to The State Newspaper, Columbia, SC, and received permission to post obituaries to Find A Grave.

Thank you so much for looking . I only know that he went by the name Everett/Evart Parnell.
He died Feb 1970 . I am not sure he had an obituary in the paper as all his siblings died before him. If you can look , it would be much appreciated . His brother John W was buried at Olympia in 1969. Maybe it was a family plot ?

Do you know if there is any care taker or someone who might have information on burials at this cemetery ? I am looking for the grave of my relative , Everette Parnell who may be buried at Olympia cemetery in 1970. HIs brother, John W Parnell was buried at Olympia in 1969 , so it may be likely his brother is buried here. I have to wait 4 more yrs before I can obtain his death cert via FOIA . Any ideas who to contact ?

Red Sox Fan, thanks for adding the memorial of Amanda H. Lott (Memorial# 168658538), and linking her to John C. Lott (Memorial# 168032983), her husband. And, for adding additional info to the bio of John.

Regarding 37847433: Thank you. I'm just running up against brick walls for John and his family. I'd like to find where he and his family (parents...brothers)came into America. The 1900 census states he arrived in the United States in 1847. Would you have any further information that may assist me in finding the ship they came over on? Many thanks!

Hi! Thank you for the work you do for us Ancestry puzzlers. I'm a bit confused however because John's dates don't add up to the age the article says he was. I've been working hard on finding John's family and this would be a help if this is indeed our "John McCabe". Did you find anything else out about him when you were doing your research?
