John STAMBACH burial/gravestone
Hi Dianna,

I don't know if there are any church records or burial records for John STAMBACH at the church where he was buried ... but if there are, I would love to have a copy!

We have no clue where he came from before he came to Snyder County, and know nothing about his parents or any siblings, if he had any.

We have no clue what caused him to die at such a young age.

All we know is that he was a one of the itinerant circuit riding preachers for the Evangelical Association under Jacob Albright.

If it is easy for you to find out about church burial records, I would greatly appreciate receiving a copy. If it is not easy ... don't worry about it.

Gravestone John Stambach
Thank-you so much for taking the picture of John Stambach's gravestone! It is such a help, for those of us who live so far away!

You mentioned that this picture was a bit light and that you could take another picture. That would be real nice. I'm having a hard time reading the dates and all the part below his name.

I wonder if spraying a mist of water on the gravestone would help. Maybe a different time of day, with different lighting, would make a difference.

Thank-you so much for your help!
I really appreciate it!

Re: Tobias Bickel‏
Thank you for taking the time to look! :)

I notice that the cemetery happens to be on Bickel Rd, so maybe that was the source of some confusion for others who assumed Tobias was buried there...
