|Janet Knepper||Edith (Osborn) Van Wegen Mardon in Forest Lawn|
I found her! and learned quite a bit about her.
Edith Osborn is the daughter of Sarah & Duane Osborn, who are buried in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
She married Willard Van Wegen August 8, 1892 in Saginaw, MI. He died in 1915 and Edith remarried someone by the name of Mardon. (Don't know the first name.)
Edith is buried in Section 11 - Lot 292 - space NE corner of W 1/2 next to her first husband, Willard. Unfortunately, she doesn't have a headstone, but I left a photo of the plot on her memorial page. I sent edits to the creator of the memorial, but it may take them a while to accept the edits and the memorial will then be current.
|Janet Marie||Lula Henne - photo request Grace Lutheran|
There are memorials for Frank and Lula Henne in Silver Lake Cemetery, Portage, Columbia County, WI. There are no marker photos on the memorials. There is an obituary for Lula on her memorial there that says that the burial will be at Silver Lake Cemetery.
You might want to make photo requests for their memorials there to see if that is where they are actually buried.
Lula's memorial is # 87046157. Frank's memorial is # 98503500.
Are you related to the Mardons? I recall adding 2 different Thomas Mardon memorials to Owen Cemetery in Thomas Twp, Saginaw, MI.
|Janet Knepper||Edith Mardon in Forest Lawn|
Hello again Karlene,
I discovered there is an Edith Mardon in Section 11 - Lot 292 in Forest Lawn Cemetery. Obviously, NOT the same person.
|Janet Knepper||Martha Mardon in Forest Lawn Cemetery|
I stumbled across a headstone for Edith Mardon while looking for someone else in Forest Lawn Cemetery about a week ago. I tried to search Forest Lawn Cemetery records for her in Section A where I found the headstone and couldn't find anything for her. The dates on the headstone were buried in the dirt, so today I went back and dug a channel in front of the headstone that let me see the dates.
She was born 9/20/1869 and died 12/19/1912. I dug enough away that you can see her date of birth now, but the channel I dug is too small and dark to show the date of death in the photo.
I put her date of death in a search in Forest Lawn Cemetery records and it came back to me as Martha Marden, Section A - Lot 2015 R5, so I searched Find A Grave and found Martha.
The obituary records I found on her say that she was married 2 times: 1) Daniel O'Reardon and 2) Thomas W Mardon. I have sent edits to the creator of the memorial regarding dates, spouses etc., but it takes a while to update records.
I added the photo of Edith Mardon to the Martha Mardon memorial. Do you think they are the same person?

I have attempted to get a photo for this photo request. Unfortunatly, this grave has yet to have a marker placed on it. I was shown the plot and I did photograph it. If you would care to have it done, I could place what I have on the memorial for you?

I checked twice with the cemetery office and they have no record of Lillian Shankle. They said sometimes its under whomever owned the plot. If you can get other information, like plot location, or owner of plot I would be happy to go try to locate her plot. The cemetery office phone is 630-941-5860 if you would like to talk to them. Thanks, Linda

|Sabrina Wolfe-Mueller||Moon Family|
I went looking for your requests at Spear Cemetery for the Moons... this cemetery is really small, but really old.. I couldn't find any stones with the name Moon on them? Is it possible you could have the wrong cemetery? If not I think its safe to say they either don't have stones - or their stones have crumbled.
|Jean Powell||Boner Memorials|
There are 2 Wm Boner's in Section A but neither fit your request: Wm S Boner 1869-1940 was Mollie's husband and Wm L Boner 1920-1941 was Freida & Hobart Boner's son. Also I did not find a M. Boner in Section A with the Bares/Boners. I did find a headstone of: Dowler w/ no dates, sitting next to Severe's headstone. Any ideas of who this Boner is? Please let me know. Thanks, Jean
|Jean Powell||Stockslager Memorials|
I have the headstone photos of both John & Nancy Stockslager & will try to get them loaded in the next few days. Thanks, Jean
