RE: Gordon
Go ahead and use my photos. By the way, the Gordon's are in Lot 76 of Section BB if you want to put that on their memorials.

Hello! Didn't realize that was you April!

I have a few more photos from our July trip to Chicago that I'll be adding the next few days.

RE: McQueen/ McColeman
I apologize that the photo is not more legible. Perhaps in the right light/shade conditions, but otherwise only chalking would bring it out, which is frowned on. In the meantime here is a link to a better picture. http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~cangmg/ontario/centont/simcoe/clearvie/stayner/union/sect2/m-to-y/mccolem2.jpg

RE: Richards
You are more than welcome. I wish it would have been better. I cleaned it and that's the best I could get.

RE: Vogt
How do you say the name "Vogt?" Is it like "Vote" or "Vot?"

Rose Warady
Hi AC Stone,

Since Rose's memorial was transferred to you, I think you have a connection to her.

So I want to let you know that I added a photo of her to her memorial:

http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=74559727

The caption contains a link to her naturalization documents.

Czechoslovakia no longer exists, and the names of towns of birth for Rose and her husband Milton were not correctly spelled in those documents. So I can't even determine which country in existence today was the location of either of their births. I did find and submit Rose's place of death location. I found that on familysearch.org.

I have no connection to Rose, I just find things online and pass them on :)

RE: spiro
that"s great to hear!! There are a few more spiro's in this cemetery, but i don't know if it's just a coincidence or if they are related. I know i have judith's plot number written down but haven't been able to get it. The last time i went there was a funeral taking place in that area so i wasn't able to get it. hopefully this sunday i will be able to retrieve it. The name changes are def a big thing. I think with all cultures. I know for my family we had to double check that our last name wasn't a town in italy. Apparently when you came to america through ellis island from italy they couldn't understand you so they changed your last name to the town that you came from. crazy! Well anyway have a great time when you meet your family.
sincerely,
noreen
