NOTE: Rita Osborne originally erroneously entered numerous burials in Calvary Cemetery (mostly death year only entered, with no plot numbers)and has since transferred to Holy Cross/St Joseph Cemetery, after the date that my Memorials for the same individuals were entered correctly in Holy Cross/St Joseph Cemetery. This includes duplication of my Memorials which were entered way before hers. The (NICWIP) bio note means that the person for whom my Memorial was entered was "Not in Cemetery When I Posted".
I am really upset about her duplications.

Graham,
Thanks for making the links on the two Krantz Memorials. Those links make the site so much easier to work with. Appreciate your work.

Transer please?
Graham, Margaret Ann Lauck is my mother in law, I would like to ask you to transfer her memorial to me so I can do some accurate work on it. I see Rita Osborne also has one for Margaret but it's so messed up. Thank you.

Rita Osborne
Rita Osborne has also entered tons for floral park. And keeps denying my edits that are correct and has made notes on ones that I tried to link the parents to. That there is no record of the parents being buried in the cemetery. Funny because I found the obits for the parents and contacted the cemetery office and have the emails that confirm they are indeed in that cemetery. I contacted find a grave and haven't heard anything back. She needs banned. If any one succeeds in getting her banned and end up taking over her records I will be more than happy to help fix them and make them correct.

RE: Duplicate Memorials/Rita Osborne
Graham,

I am sorry if you took it the wrong way. I know that I have duplicated memorials because I didn't do a good job of checking to see if they were already up, or because the one that was up was different in some way and I didn't know it was that person. I want to be told if I have duplicated so I can delete them. I stopped doing anything with Holy Cross because of how much Rita Osborne has messed up the memorials. She has disabled her page so you can't even contact her now. This is a perfect example of why someone should not use spreadsheets from a cemetery office to create massive numbers of memorials. I first told her TWO YEARS AGO that she was creating memorials for people and putting them in the wrong cemetery. I believe she has messed up so many that the only way to fix it is for Find a Grave to remove ALL of her memorials. I work exclusively in Johnson County now. There is a woman there that also puts up massive amounts of memorials using a spreadsheet from a cemetery. She has created so many with no dates at all, just the name so they won't come up in a search. She also puts the WRONG dates on them because she gets off a line when she is transcribing them in the hurry to get them up. Once again, they won't come up in a search if you are looking for someone in the proper year that they died. I try not to come off to anyone as a know it all or as arrogant. I certainly don't know it all and make mistakes, and I correct them when pointed out. But, I have always had issues with people out there whose only goal is to created massive amounts of memorials to make them feel better about themselves or to feel important, and not caring whether what they are doing is accurate or not. Finally, I used to go to Holy Cross and take lots of photo requests. I stopped doing that because the majority of the flat stones there have sunk into the ground and are covered with grass so it is nearly impossible to find who is buried there. When I spoke to the office about it, their attitude was like, oh well that is the families responsibility to trim the grass away. There is one particular baby section there that is nearly completely gone because every baby stone has been covered with grass either from growth or from the mower blowing cut grass on them. In a few years you wont even be able to tell that there are babies buried there. Thank you for all the hard work you do Graham. I never mean anything sinister when I point out a duplication because I want to know when I do it. I share your frustration with Rita, but Find a Grave doesn't seem to care, so I'm done caring about it.

Calvary/Holy Cross-St. Joseph Duplications
I am also having endless problems with Rita Osborne's duplications in the above cemeteries.

Hundreds of the duplicates are listed with the incorrect DOB/DOD. I've sent requests to update the information. They are processed and then changed back to the incorrect dates. I have also asked that the duplicates be deleted with no response from her.

I'm going to borrow your wording "NICWIP" for the memorials I've created.

Thanks!

Hi, Graham
First, thank you for all the work you have done. I have been able to benefit greatly from it.
Daniel Earl "Earl" Lynn is my great uncle. I am so happy to see that you have located his obituary. Could you tell me where?
Also, Julia Eileen Mary LYNN Morgan is not a half sibling.
My grandmother: Mary Frances Genevieve LYNN O'Brien is Find A Grave Memorial# 112095066, also a whole sibling.
Thanks again
