Hi Mary. You're welcome. I posted pics of the cemetery that are waiting to be approved. You should be seeing them in about 24 hrs I'm guessing.
I was incredibly troubled by the condition of this cemetery. Fairfield County and the historical society takes great pride in the cemeteries in their care. This cemetery is not indicative of their work.
I read the 'problems' with the photo requests. Based on other comments made, it appears the landowner doesn't want people walking through his field ... If truth be known, its probably because he doesn't want anyone to see how much its in disrepair.
I believe all the monuments are still there. You can't take more than two steps there without stepping on a monument thats just under the surface or piled up with others. It's truly a sad situation.

She only has the cemetery marker, which was buried under dirt and grass about 6 inches. Appears there was another request in 2011 in which I did not find the marker. I use a screw driver to find the buried markers, but the cemetery ones are only about 6 inch square they are easy to miss, also many are missing.
