Thomas Thomasson
I tansferred Thomas to you. If you would like me to transfer his sons to you as well let me know. I looked up Thomas when I was helping someone who asking about his daughter in law Grace, Irvin's wife. It is interesting to see the spelling difference with the brothers.

RE: Jerik Baby... Again
I know exactly what you're talking about, but have never made sense of it. I have had some contact with Tillie Novacek's daughter, Priscilla Gust. I will get back to you.

RE: Joseph Sindelar
You're most welcome and I'm glad that you liked the photo. Interesting how small the world really is!
It was total coincidence about the timing of your memorial and my posting of the photo. I haven't been on F-A-G that long, and I was simply searching our family names and Sindelar popped up!

RE: Ludmilla
How sad - I'll bet her husband ended up in a "stack" somewhere in that cemetery, too. He had family there, though, I believe, so maybe his remains fared better. When her stone was "processed" - what does that mean?

RE: My question about the Novaceks...
the birthdate for John Brantl in the document I described in the previous note is May 16, 1855. The obit gives no day, only May, 1885 (haha - can't always go by what's in a document!)

RE: Never mind...
You got me to search my files on that one. I got Domazlice as John Brantl's birthplace from his obit. His birthplace on an old list of the Brantl family put together by his daughters, I believe, gives the following address:#41 Havlovice, Plzenekeho, Bohemia. On that document was Mary Sindelar, born at #53 Ickovice, Tabor, Prague, Bohemia. I wondered about the "Prague" in Mary's birthplace and ended up questioning how much of these addresses were correct.

RE: Anna Kratochvil-Novacek
I have no answers there - but I now know how you managed to get the birthdates for all those Sindelars!

RE: Looking through Chicago newspaper archives from that week...
It would be really interesting to get a copy of the death cert or better yet, as you said, the medical examiner's report. I didn't know anything about the stillborn, other than the family belief Millie died in childbirth. Where did you find those documents? I think part of the lack of family info is that those surviving children were so young when these events befell them, they probably never knew the details.
