Interesting that there are stones in 2 cemeteries.
I took a picture of the one in the Masonic cemetery in 2012, and it looked very old. I made two trips to Morganfield, and the first time I overlooked Aaron's name & info, it was much less prominent. I did think it was odd that this stone was in an area of the cemetery away from the concentration of Waller graves. I thought it might be because it was older.
Don't know when the cemetery began...may look into that.
RE: Charles H Lipford Thanks for the reply.I also did some cemetery hopping with Payton Heady. He and I went to several cemeteries in Union Co. I am very familiar with the Lambert Cemetery. We used to mow the old Lambert Cemetery as it was where my Grandmothers family were buried. I have the handwritten deed to it as well as the deed,(also hand written)to Charles Henry, and Phebe Lambert Lipfords home place. Thanks, Mike
Ann Michael Memorial My husband John and I have been filling photo requests for Calvary Cemetery in Decatur, IL. We found a small stone for 'Nellie' Michael. Her name and dates are all that's on the stone. The dates are, 1852-1935. I noted that your 'Nellie' was born in 1851 and died in 1935. If you go to a Pauline A Michael, Find-A-Grave, in Decatur, IL, Calvary Cemetery, you will see a picture of the stone for Nellie Michael. She is buried right next to Pauline A Michael. I can't find a tie-in between Pauline and Nellie. My question is, could this Nellie Michael be the one you are wanting a picture of the stone or do we need to keep looking? Thanks. BBarrett
