|As a child, I often lived with older family members, who generously shared their precious gifts of memories and family stories with me. Regret and longing was frequently expressed, over the inability to visit family grave-sites, and to leave flowers, or other expressions of love. As I have found family resting places, stories and mysteries resurface, are recorded, preserved, and some even solved, for future family members who may have questions about our family history!|
My Goal is to Share History, and Family Information!
Some of the Memorials I manage, are affiliated family members, whom I am researching, and have additional information to add, thus a transfer occurred. A few were transferred from Findagrave members who were, or were going to become inactive. My goal is to preserve and share our collective history, not to collect memorials. If I manage a close family member to you, whom you care enough about to sponsor, or to add photos and information for, and you would like a transfer, please contact me!

If you have additional info to add to his record, I would be happy to transfer management to you.

First of all, thank you for your kind words. I'm so glad that you have benefited from the memorials that I created. I contributed those from Smithfield Cemetery some time ago when I was single and had a lot of leisure time. I'm now married with two sons, and don't get to contribute to the site as much as I used to, due to lack of time, but I still get out and do it occasionally.
Just wanted to let you know that I went ahead and transferred to you all of the Davis memorials from Smithfield Cemetery that I was currently managing. I figured it would be much easier to do it that way, and just let you add to them as you please. If I can help you further in any way, please let me know. I don't live in the same part of town as I did when I was closer to that particular cemetery, but I'm over there every so often, so if I can help with anything, I'll certainly try.
Thanks again for your note. It made my day to be reminded that my efforts were not in vain. God bless.

Stuff happens as they say ...
You added them, you have to be the one to delete them. I cannot. Just click on a flower, it will then ask you what you want to do. Just hit delete, then it will ask you if you are sure you want to delete it, you hit yes.

|Debbie||RE: Mary Loessberg Koenig|
This lady is Mary Elizabeth Loessberg Koenig, sister of Anna Martha Loessberg Koenig, Find A Grave# 7113205, in the same cemetery, and the wife of Otto Koenig, Find A Grave # 7115936
In response to this from you...I can find no proof of her being the sister of Anna. Anna's parents: Johann Loessberg/Anna Elisabeth Wagner. Mary's parents: George Loessberg/Anna Catherine Wagner.
But I did link her with her husband Otto.---Debbie

The memorial has been transferred to your management. It is great to see memorial found and every burial has a story and many times people influenced others in a profound way. Thanks for sharing the story of Park E Senter

Deb I am glad I was able to help you out on the head stone. while doing this I did find that there is a memorial for Nathanial in the Elm Springs cemetery. I added the photo of the head stone to that memorial. So if you want the true resting place of Nathanial it will be there for you. Mary Christmas to you and yours. Sparky

Blessing to all

I am always delighted when some of my post & information, help a family in the research of their family.
My family has close ties to this cemetery, with several family members being buried there. The couple who donated the land for the cemetery was my third Gr. Grandparents (Rev. John and Charity Williams). He also preached at the church that once stood near the cemetery.
My 2nd Great Aunt Sarah Frances Gaunt, married James Ross Booth. I believe he and his first wife have a child also buried in this cemetery.
Thanks so much for your kind words.

Hey what was the name of that plantation and it's location again? I'm going to stop by the heritage society and see if they know anything about it. It's been bugging me.
