Hello and thanks for taking the time to see who is helping in the 23rd District of Tennessee. My name is Kelly (Carter) Wyatt I have ties to the Barb, Cranmer, Cronkhite, Haine, Huber, Johnson, Moore, Parker, Roger, Steinmen, and many more. My ancestors are scattered throughout the US from Maine to California. I realized how many graves and cemeteries were not listed for folks that are trying to search their family heritage and it is a bit disappointing for some of us.A lot of rural towns had family cemeteries, so I decided to try to help some people find their ancestors who may have lived or died in our town of Charlotte & Dickson, Burns & White Bluff in Dickson Co, TN; and Ashland City, Kingston Springs, Pleasant View, Chapmansboro, Cheap Hill and Henrietta in Cheatham Co,TN; Ashland City, Henrietta or Clarksville in Montgomery Co, TN; and Ashland City also as a part of Davidson County, TN|
I have built one tree in each side of the family and it was an interesting and exciting adventure. I loved every minute of it. I was able to understand just how they lived, their education, the hard times, and often wonder how did they do it? But I figure they must have done it the right way or I wouldn't be here to tell about it. So in between taking care of 6 grandchildren ages 2 yrs to 11 yrs, I have managed to compile 3 to 4 inches of files for each of my ancestry lines. And I am willing to make it easier for the next person.
Hope you have a Blessed Day!

Kelly, Please remove the headstone picture from Martha A. King. I have copied that picture to the correct person.

Did you ever find Leech Cemetery?
|Joyce Nance-Woodcock||RE: John Steele|
No, I didn't. I sent you an edit on both their memorials. If you have any questions about them, let me know.
Glad you liked the photo; it was a pleasure getting it for you.

Turn on 47 from the intersection of 48. Leech Cemetery Rd, which isn't marked, is almost directly in between the intersections of Old State Hwy 47. The road will be on the right (if you get to Franklin Rd. turn around.) A large Victorian home sits at the road so it kind of looks like a driveway, but the cemetery is up at the top of the hill well past the house.

I just wanted to say thanks for your help locating some family members for me. Your work on Find A Grave is very helpful and appreciated. If I can ever do anything for you in the Houston Texas area, just let me know.

You're very welcome; it was my pleasure.
Yes, I placed the flowers there for the picture so you could see where the headstone is in the area photo. When I began taking volunteer photos I went to the dollar store and bought flowers to place on the graves for the family. I hated to quit doing that but, even at a dollar, it soon became too expensive, as I've done over 700 so far.
I'm glad that you liked the photo. Have a great week.

Lucretia married into my Kerouac line so I did not follow her line and do not know her parents I do not think.

I'm not sure exactly where the "Mae" reference came into the picture - it's been too long :) It was probably either a census listing or possibly some of the family records put together by a distant cousin of mine/ours back in the 1980s. You may have run across this website before, but if not, another descendant of the Parkers has put together an amazing website with lots of detailed references. No need to. I am not related to anybody in St. Johns Catholic Cemetery.
