Bio and Links
Bio Photo I got involved with genealogy about 2004 working on my paternal side. Find A Grave is a great site and an incredible resource with very supportive and helpful people. If you need any assistance in the Phoenix/Mesa Arizona area please let me know and I'll do what I can as many have helped me.

My primary interest is researching family ties in Massachusetts, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina and Vermont.

The links for your grandmother were automatically made to her parents since you must not have located the edit key function as I requested. Hope you liked her picture I added?!?
Thank you.

Jane Ellen (Harper) Morris
Hi again. None of the portraits have a middle name for Jane. Where did you get the middle name "Ellen"? She has a sister named Ellen. It seems funny to duplicate a name, but maybe they liked "Ellen" so much that they named the next girl Ellen.

Jane's mother, Hetty Gibson, was my 2nd great-grandmother Eliza Gibson's sister.

Alcarnia Howard
Alcarnia's stone sits by itself in row 5. Even though the rootsweb page lists Benoni and Hannah as also being in row 5, there is not a stone for either. I checked the remainder of the cemetery and could not find them.

The website for the Cabot Historical Society says there is a story which may or may not be true that a farmer during WWII removed all the gravestones so he could plant potatoes in the field. the town found out and had them put back but probably not in the original order and several were missing.

Alcarnia Howard
David,
In your photo request you say your 7th Great grandparents were buried with Alcarnia in Cabot. I would like to have their names to make the search easier. Infant graves are sometimes hard to locate without additional information. I plan to look when I come back up to Vermont the start of September.
