Name Spelling Correction Request
To follow up on the requested name changes I have made for several indivduals at the Dayton Glade Run Cemetery in Dayton. PA I wish to provide you with the details for making this request. I am a relative of the Goodhearts buried at the Glade Run Cemetery and am the administrator of a genealogy website that details my ancestry. You may view this website at www.snydergoodhartalcorn,com . If you search for John Augustus Goodhart you will find that he changed the spelling of his name in the early 1900s; reason unknown. Anyhow, I have contacted the children (Bernice, Randall and Shirley) of Bernard and Pauline Wall Goodheart and they assusred me the spelling on the gravemarker for John Augustus, his wife Eva and son Bernard is 'Goodheart'. Please revise the spelling as noted at your earliest convenience.

George Turney at Forest Home Cemetery
Hi! There is no way for a volunteer photographer to look up the burial location for him. This cemetery does not assist photo volunteers. I hope you will call or e-mail the cemetery to obtain the burial plot.

Phone: 773-287-0772
E-mail: deborah.bluck@foresthomecemetery.net

If you do not obtain the burial plot your photo request will likely continue to go unfulfilled (as it has for almost a year). This cemetery is approximately one square mile in size with over 150,000 burials. Finding a grave really does require the burial plot. Additionally, almost no one volunteers here because the cemetery will not help us. I'm one of the very few who continue to try to help with photo requests here.

Delia Sheets Zufall
I mistakenly created a posting for my great grandmother Delia Sheets and have included the names of all of her children which you don't have on your's. I actually copied the obituary of her verbatim and knew most of her children personally. I will also go back and list her siblings on my postings as I have a record of them as well. Would you mind deleting your posting as mine is more complete. I apologize for the inconvenience but want to not confuse our future descendants with two postings.

Duplicate I created
Hi Connie - One of the administrators contacted me about a duplicate I created for John Zufall. He was my great grandfather and while I thought I'd searched correctly it seems I missed your listing.

I hate to delete mine as I've listed all his children. Your's has his siblings. Both are invaluable to genealogists (which is my reason for being on Find A Grave).

I'm happy to delete mine but would like to keep his children on there. Is there some way to do this short of me sending you their information? Can I somehow add it to what you have here? Just let me know so I can do what's right and get as much info as possible up on this site.

George Turney at Forest Home Cemetery
Hi! Almost no one fulfills photo requests here because the cemetery does not appreciate photographers and they will not supply them with burial plots.

But you can get the burial plot by calling the cemetery at 773-287-0772 or try e-mailing deborah.bluck@foresthomecemetery.net if you cannot talk to someone.

Since there are over 150,000 burials at the cemetery, finding someone's grave without a plot (Section and Lot Number) is nearly impossible. Ace

Virginia Basinger
Hello Connie. Virginia Basinger is my aunt. Remember her from my childhood. Her daughter, Sandy, is of course my cousin. We graduated high school from Connellsville in 1974. Lost track of Sandy soon thereafter and always wondered what became of her. Have some fond memories of my Aunt Ginny as we called her. Last year I found her grave at Greenridge and was happy to place flowers. If you like you may e-mail me at tvorrasi@zoominternet.net

RE: Thank You
I checked my photos. I did not see any for Sarah Matteson or a Sarah Yager. I have so many photos that unfortunaly I delete them after a month. I still have thousands of photos to add. The next time I'm in that cemetery I can look.

RE: Thank You
I don't have my iPad with me to check my photos. I usually photograph the surrounding surnames. However, could Sarah's last name be Yarger? Died Oct 4, 1985? According to the City of Saginaw website, Sarah A Yarger is buried next to him. I will check pics when I return home later this evening and get back with you.

RE: Thanks
Click on the photo of the Martin monument to read the caption listing the graves in the group. If Doris is buried near her husband her grave may be unmarked.
