Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been researching the Rasberry/Ellis/Barnes/Tipton/Shepherd/Best/Sawyer/Crumpler linage in Texas for several years now and my aunt was Edna Rasberry Burtis who researched the Rasberry/Ellis line for 40 years without a computer! Can you imagine?

Lehrkind/Topel and Toepper linage in Montana and Iowa on my husband's side.

In 2011 I met two other women online at FaG and we reclaimed and restored Clarks Ferry Cemetery in Angelina County. It had been abandonded 20 years ago. We located living heirs through and ads in local newspapers to do the clean up. Very rewarding project.

Member of Daughters of the American Revolution through Eli Tipton.

RE: 45454541 - Mary Willie Johnson Barnes
I really dont know what the protocol is for requesting an edit. Is recollection enough? I have no documentation to support what I believe to be correct, but I do recall that my grandmother was the youngest of four born to her mother. I also recall that her mother's name was Mary Jane. Assuming I remember correctly, Mary Willie's mother should be Mary Jane Clark Johnson, as is the case with Nancy Jane, Burr, and Annie Laura.

We had an extensive family tree. It has apparently been lost, so my daughter and I are beginning to try to recreate it. I have a new respect for folks like you who have spent so much time doing the research to figure out who belongs to whom. Amazing work!

45454541 - Mary Willie Johnson Barnes
Ms. Pierce,

I believe the above listing is my grandmother's (44815537-Annie Laura Johnson Prafka) sister. On my grandmother's findagrave listing, it shows Mary Willie as her half-sibling. I believe this may be incorrect because Mary Willie's mother is listed with the name of her oldest sister (45455411-Nancy Jane Johnson).

I am admittedly new to this and may be reading incorrectly, but I wonder if you might tell me if this might be so?

RE: Peter Green Morris 39206272
Thank you for such a timely response. Obviously, the person was a descendant of Peter Morris had the picture.. I know that when I place pictures in Find A Grave memorials, I also include their names and sometimes the approximate date the picture was taken. I am so anxious to find out who the woman was.
I have written 5 books on my descendants, and have done extensive research for years. I live in Lufkin, out 103E. Please friend me, and perhaps I can get in the group.
Thank you, again

Peter Green Morris 39206272
Could you please identify the picture of the woman with Peter Morris. I also have a picture of him when he was married to my great-grandmother, Mattie Bonner (Cook) Morris who he married on 19 Dec 1901 in Polk Co., TX. Could that possibly be Mattie, as he looks somewhat older in the picture which would be consistent with a later marriage.
I do not have a picture of her, nor have I ever seen one.
Thank you for your work on Find A Grave.

Hubert C Topel duplicate
The other one was entered a year and five months before the one you now manage. You should request a transfer of the original and a deletion of the duplicate.

RoxღEd~Matthew 24:
RE: Harold barnett
Hello Roselyn, concerning Harold Barnett. I may have put his stone on at one time. I posted a lot of photos, memorials, etc that got lost in the system crashes the site used to have. I lost over a 100 memorials just at one such time. There are a few headstones that I posted twice, and are still missing. If I should go to that cemetery again, there are a few photos I will try to get Harold's being one of them. However, if his stone had dates I would have put them on the memorial. Thanks for your information...

I changed the name to Hanah and took the relationship link off. Thanks for letting me know. She was in the section next to a group of Topel's. Jane
