Concerning your photo request for Eunice Hill in Tannery Hill Cemetery, Mariaville, Hancock County, Maine - Would this be the Eunice Hill you are looking for? Memorial #73181165
|Frederick Porter||Sarah Chadsey|
I have posted an updated photo for Find A Grave Memorial# 74203649 Sarah Chadsey. Her stone has been restored so her info is once again visible, not the case a couple of years ago when I think you requested a photo.
Just thought you would like to know...............

If you go to rihistoriccemeteries.org, the cemetery note at the bottom of her page states that she was removed on June 1, 1879 to Riverside Cemetery. She is listed on this web site 2 times. The other listing is for Riverside Cemetery.
Philinda Tottie is not listed on the stone but the cemetery has verified that she is buried there.

I posted a couple photos for Thomas and Lydia, but I'm not sure if the quality is any better than what you already have. The writing is pretty faded and was hard to read in person. I have some additional photos that I was unable to post (apparently the maximum is 5 on each memorial page). Let me know if you'd like me to email those, and the other .jpegs to you.

I got long winded so i sent you a email with everything I have found, I also made 2 maps one of Gaspereau area and another of Lockerville are with the known location of cemeteries. Along with the list of all cemeteries in Kings county the a little map showing the dividison of kings county into townships. And a list of all the non internet research material i have here I checked. I'm not sure of the location a couple of the cemeteries, I would try the Kings county historical society is in Kentville. They should be able to help out on the ones I'm not sure about 3 of them are in the same general area so might just be a matter of a quick drive.

Glad to help. The area's are pretty rural most small communities had 1 cemetery for all religions. considering the two mentioned cemeteries are close to where he lived it would start with that, if he was buried in Wolfville or Kentville it would be possible to do narrow it down to religion. If I find anything else out I'll let you know.

I have checked the Kings County record for Death/Birth/Marraiges/probate/deed and cemeteries. Not having much luck however it's not the first person for the Gaspereau area that I haven't been able to find. What I have found is that he's wife's parents are buried at the Greenfield cemetery (Greenfield Road, Greenfield Kings county). This cemetery is very need Gaspereau Mountain where they had property and has consider part of Lower Horton. So i would start there, I checked a couple different websites on the cemeteries in this area it's not well documented. There's also the old Gaspereau cemetery on Davidison street(Davison Street just south of Allison Coldwell Road). cemetery looks like it was in use for over 50 years but I only have 60ish people listed as been buried there and it was a community cemetery so seems to be some missing data there also. Hope this helps.
