Elfrida Derwent

Many thanks for the heads-up! I've revised Elfrida's bio accordingly, and have included some additional info about her theatrical career.
I've also notified the Admins to change the word "wife" to "sister" in Clarence Derwent's bio in the Findagrave Famous division.

Best regards,

RE: I think you've got it
You're very welcome Scotty, I have made the changes to his date of death in Find A Grave and Ancestry. Hope this will help others.

John D McCavett
Hi again,

Just looking at the dates and relized that Sara didn't die until 1948 so I'm wondering if she and John may have divorced. Then he married Minnie.

Hi Scotty,

I checked on Ancestry where I got the info as John was married to my 2nd cousin Sara Elizabeth Apger. One of the hints I have there is John married "Minnie" after Sara died and one of the hints shows his date of death as Dec 5, 1918 in Chicago.

If this is the right one I'll change the date. There is no info on Minnie except a date of birth of Jan 1857.

Let me know

Scotty, thanks for the nicely done headstone photo. Now there is the difficulty of finding out his true year of birth. The family records of his line have one year, the fellow who manages the site has a different year, and the stone has a still different year. Mysteries abound!

Thank you Scotty for the great photo of the grave site. I appreciate your effort. I'll wait a while and request another photo when they have her stone set.

Thank you so much for checking into my request! You can go ahead and post the photo now and then I'll submit a request in the future hopefully when the stone is completed.
