Bio Photo Daughter of Vivian Maxine Veach-Olson and Rex Clay Phares, wife of Robert Martin Funk and mother of Brett Martin Funk.
I have been interested in my family history for sometime but couldn't find the time for the research. Then I tore three ligaments in my right ankle in March of 2010. I signed up for ancestry.com to have a sitting activity that could occupy me during the long hours of sitting and waiting to heal. Now it's a regular pastime.

I am researching Henry Clay because Gramma Phares said we were related. No luck in finding a connection so far. And, I'm researching Bat Masterson because my husbands Grandma Williamson said he was related to her mother Sarah Masterson. Also no luck in finding a connection.

You are welcome.

That picture on my profile page is a gif. You can google gif and find out how to make one. Just be cautious about some of the sites that will do it for you. Look for a reputable site. Gif is the file type, as in ".gif"

Thank you for turning the picture of Leona and Forest around. Are you related? She is my aunt.

Ferren
Sorry to report the Ferrens have no existing marker at the location provided by the cemetery database (Sec S, Lot 3). They are buried with the Whayne family and others. I'll add a photo of the plot to the memorials.

RE: Mary McConiga
Thanks for trying. I'll take your word that there's not a headstone.

RE: Mountainview Cemetery
Yes I'm a naive - an old one. I found Helen but didn't like the sun that day then when I went back and took the pic I forgot to brush of the grass so didn't like the pic I took. I know I am picking but if it were my relative I would like it to not have cut grass all over. So I will drop by and get that one tomorrow and do the others this coming weekend.

RE: Mountainview Cemetery
My husband and enjoy going to the cemetery and looking for the markers. If you need help finding anyone let me know & I will look it up for you. I have the disc from Longmont Genealogical Society and a large map that shows all the blocks and plots.

Katherine Wagner
Thank you so much for the Katherine Wagner gravesite photo. This is my husband's great grandmother so it was nice to see her gravesite and find where it is located at. Appreciate it!
