We enjoy researching our family history. Scott's father's side are Pearce/Tant/Perry/Medlin from Franklin County, NC we have traced his family back over 260 years in Franklin County. His mother's side is Champion/Roberson/Coghill/Jones/Stanton from Vance County, NC and I'm Clark/Jones/Stevens/White from Charleston/Pecks Mill, WV. We started on ancestry.com in 2001 and are now in the process of making sure everything is on findagrave.com. We will gladly help anybody whenever we can. It is exciting to be able to help somebody find a headstone that they are looking for. We really enjoy the history that each cemetery provides us when we walk through.

The Champions drifted down from Va. My Grandmother's Grandmother used to talk about the Champion family riding 5 or 10 wagons to N.C. and would visit at least a month.. If you want to see what I have on Champions, Including some pictures, Just let me know. | | | BeeManTim

 | Bertie Jone Just got off the phone with the city. Was given perfect directions to Bertie with section and plot # so I will be heading out there this evening.
FYI: They said her name on the headstone is: Bertie Jane Faulk Jones. | | | AJ Harrison
 | Bertie Jones I found a Frances Greene Jones b. Jan 20, 1941 d. Feb 9, 2011.
Is this by chance your Bertie?
When I have a minute, I will call and see if they can let me know if there is a Bertie Jones specifically and where the plot is if they have her.

 | RE: Edgerton Sure if you want to tranfer Edgertons to me, that's fine. If you are related as well, you should keep them. | | | | [View all messages...] |
