RE: clara lyons
You're very welcome. Clara Bell's great-uncle, Jonathan Spohn, is my 4th great-grandfather, so maybe we are cousins somehow? It seems many Perry County family trees have a few Anspach, Binkley or Spohn branches somewhere.

If you do get here this fall, Lulu Jones is supposed to be in the next section up from William. When you come into the cemetery and turn right on the first road, she is to the left close to the road in a big clump of bushes. Take a big knife with you. She is on the same road as William, just on opposite ends. Maybe the bee nest will be gone by then!

You are very welcome and yes, he is in the first section to the right as you are going in the cemetery. If my memory serves me right, he is all the way to the back beside the drive.

Lulu Jones at Shawnee cemetery
I was at Shawnee today and Lulu's stone is covered with weeds. At least according to the book at the cemetery that is where she should be. I will wait until late fall and take something with me to cut them back. There was a huge bee nest on the stone just up from her! Didn't want to get too close.
