I've been working on my and my husband's family trees for over thirty years. A big part of that, of course, has always been wandering through the woods searching for abandoned graveyards. [Biggest phobia = deer hunters.] When I get frustrated I switch over to working on those of in-laws and friends, just for variety. I love to get emails or messages about the families I work on and am not at all sensitive about corrections or challenges to my interpretations.

I'm very grateful to FindAGrave for providing an opportunity to honor those who have gone before us. I'm always glad to transfer memorials to those who are more closely related to a person than I or my husband are, and of course many of my memorials are of non-relatives for whom it would be nice to find interested family.

Could you point me in the direction of documents that connect George Rhoades of Orange County, Va to Rev. Walter Rhoades of Rhode Island? Thanks so much!

RE: Theodorick Webb
I found her married name in the probate record of her father Henry Dry. Henry died in Monroe County, MO in 1870. She is listed on the 1870 census in her father's household. In the probate record she is listed as living in Texas. Her mother was Lucinda Franklin.

Sorry about that. Memorial number 80663011. Should never assume that there is only one person with an uncommon name.

RE: Nancy Yankee Rowland
Bev, I can add to her bio as I've already prepared for that and have added a lot to Find a Grave on my family. So please do what you think best. Please see some of my biographies; for instance, please see Judge Jacob A. Yankee. I have the family history back to Germany and the landing in PA. Kindest Regards, Nancy Yankie
