A daughter, a sister, a wife, an aunt, and a mother with a passion for photography and reading. Loves the beauty of the Pacific Northwest and the smell of rain. Lives by this motto: "There are many things in life that will capture your eye, but very few will capture your heart. These are the ones to pursue. These are the ones worth keeping."|

Lynette, Thank you for your information. I can not put my hands on that information right now altho I know I got it out of a book that was in a little house at the Park Hill cemetery. It was several years ago and I did find May's headstone, but didn't have a camera at the time. I do remember Almanson and Lester were back by a fence and no markers, but hoped to get a picture of the area they are in. I called the cemetery, but got a recording. I will try again.

Here's a first - the database I was using has my great-aunt and uncle in the wrong cemetery! Turns out they are both buried in Evergreen Memorial Gardens out on NE 112th Ave. Please let me know if you'd like to go that far, otherwise I'll resubmit the photo request. They share the same headstone in the Good Shepherd section, near the mausoleum. They are 1 & 2, lot 336. Sorry for the wild goose chase!

Hi Lynette - thanks for the contact info. I usually do that bit of research myself before I put in a request, but lately the relatives I've been working on have all had their burial locations identified, so I got out of the habit. I'll let you know when I manage to get ahold of someone at this particular office, and whether or not they'll help me out with a burial location.

The cemetery has a decent map that shows it to be easiest to access from Mill Plain Blvd, and as you discovered, section B, 109-3. Wish I had known before as his sister lived near there and was one of my favorite great aunts, plus I was living in St Helens Oregon and it would have been an easy trip to make.
But that is okay. Found out I had relatives buried in Vernonia Oregon a couple years ago and I was living a mere 15 miles away just a couple of years prior to that.
Anyhow, my mother was excited that I had found a listing for his grave as he died one year after her father died and had stated that he was next. Coupled with the fact that he had changed his name, no one living knew which name he might have been buried under. Plus the plot he is in was owned by a cousins (to my grandmother) ex husband, which was a surprise ... but Mom knew who he was.
