|dek_tx||Got the source yet|
I will tell you that I'm the lead researcher on the McCurry line. If a source existed, I would have found it.

This is coming from a marriage record, will or bible record, right?
So far, there is no marriage record or will for Nancy and William. Only the McCurry bible has the information.

Yes, Nancy Scotch is all over the internet, with no proof.

William's birth date, Oct. 11, 1845 which came from the McCurry bible matches that on his headstone.
However, I still need the source for Nancy's surname?

|dek_tx||I have William on my tree|
who is your ancestor. However, I have found proof that he went to Victoria, TX.
Do you have bible records or death records?

That's all I need.

What documentation are you using for Nancy's surname?
The McCurry bible gives over 200 years of information, and the name "Scotch" isn't in it,.

|dek_tx||RE: Nancy--wife of William Mccurry|
I have researched the McCurrys extensively. I have a 200 year old McCurry bible with William's birth and death in it. It lists his wife as Nancy only.
I have never found any documentation for her last name, and I've been to Greene County. My grandmother was born in the adjacent county.
