I don't know if I have contacted you in the past but, I would like you to remove the photos you have placed on my Find A Grave page(s). I do have some photos and plan to put them on my pages....some my discretion. It may be a common practice to invade other people's private space but it is not something I practice or appreciate. It might be a different matter if people would ask first but...they don't.
I find it rude and arrogant.
Please comply.
Thank you.

RE: Robert Ererit
Hi Norman, just looked at your message about Robert Evert(1817-1867). Just yesterday I was looking at Roberts Grave Marker and I am now wondering if this is the correct grave. I created the memorial for Robert, and requested a photo. A "Dennis Crane" posted the picture. I suspect it is an error. "Our" Robert Evert was born about 1817, probably in New York and DID die in 1867. Robert is buried in Crown Point Cemetery, in Crown Point, Indiana. Roberts' last name was spelled "Everts" on different documents( census and other records). The dates on the grave marker are not the dates(birth/death)of "Our" Robert. If you "google" "John and Theodocia Evert, a web site called "" comes up. This site was created by and maintained by, James Anderson. His worked is sourced documented and I trust his work. James has said he has yet to confirm the "Our" Robert Evert has a grave marker. I can on guess that the picture of the grave marker posted to my memorial of Robert is probably wrong. I am going to a family reunion in Anaconda, Mt. this week-end; James will be ther and I will see if he has any new information.

RE: Nier/Dyer Cemetery
That breaks my heart! It's such a shame...I know of one other cemetery located near Riley, IN where the farmer took all of the stones and tossed them into the edge of the woods and plowed over the cemetery. Horrible!!

RE: Fertig Cemetery
I know what cemetery you're talking about now. I still haven't checked it out and probably won't until the fall. The cemetery is on personal property and is in the middle of a corn field. I've been told it's pretty well destroyed due to neglect. The reason I'm waiting til fall is because of the tall weeds, etc. that may house snakes and other creepy things. The other name for it is Dyer so help me remember in November possibly to see what I can find out.

RE: Fertig Cemetery
I do live just down the road from the Fertig Cemetery which is in Owen County. If I'm not mistaken is was shown to be in Clay County on he map in Find A Grave. I've looked for the "Neier" cemetery you spoke of but don't find it. I'll keep looking.
