Would you add a copy of her headstone photo to the memorial? Thank you.

|Dan Dreifuerst||Rothgery child|
I just photographed a headstone that reads "? of A and M Rothgery. I fairly certain it reads born and died in 1874. This child's stone leans up against Anton and Mary Rothgery's stone. I made memorial #152427592 for he/she in Holy Cross cemetery at Mt Calvary, Wi. I could not find anything in Bob Baumann's Enders family book. Do you know this child's first name?

Could you add your grave photo of Anton Rothgery to Mary's memorial #140344227?

My book 'The Orleans Battery' contains the following in the soldier biography section -
"Weed, Alonzo - 8/19/62 at Medina, NY age 40; deserted 5/3/63 at Camp Barry, Wash. D.C.; Carpenter in 1851 York Township, Ontario Canada Census age 29, probably son of Fertulis and Hannah on same Census page; 60 Ridgeway NY Census age ; House Joiner; Carpenter in 70 Titusville, PA Census; (1821? in Wyoming Co. NY- after 1875); wife Mary age ; married Mary Castle (1825? in Canada- after 1870) 3/16/45 at York, Ontario, Canada; he returned to Ridgeway, NY, as he appears in 1875 Census as a Canadian born Livery Worker, age 54"
He picked a good day to desert - all officers and most men went off to have photos taken that morning - I have all 4 photos, if you're interested. More 17th men with Canada connections deserted than stayed with the 17th. One of the 1st 2 to leave (1/63) later served in the Indian Wars in the Cavalry. I'm still searching for Alonzo's burial date and place.
