RE: Tweed Family, Knox, Ohio
Hi Ray,

Sarah's maiden name from marriage record in Belmont Co, OH (06 Feb 1827) and from daughter Mary Ann's death record in Knox Co. I don't have a lot of info on the family, but what I do have, you can find here ( Note that this info is frequently updated, so you might want to check back occasionally to see if I've added any info. All sources are included, and very few are from other's information. If there is a discrepancy among sources, I note that, too (as I did on Sarah's page).

No, I'm not at all related. I do genealogy research focused on Knox County, OH, as a "retirement project," and yes, I'm an addict. :)

If you would like, I can give you John and Sarah's Find A Grave memorials. I simply added them because I "found" them and they weren't there.

Feel free to contact me with any questions I might be able to answer.

i have not been to the cemetery. the info on him was from notes from my late husbands' family (Uncle) who is not living either. for confirmation perhap someone back there could check. sometimes old graveyards dont always keep up the tombstones. Sorry i couldn't be of more help. If you want I will put unknown on his memorial ,if we cant prove it. Good luck and good grave huntting.ktcv
