Love researching my family history. Sometimes I start and can't stop. |
I have been working on family lines for many years. It still amazes me how much I still don't know.
I regret that I have not been able to work on my family lines as I have wanted too. Sometimes other things are just more important.
Like e taking care of loved ones.
My research brought me closer to my father in law. We shared many days together with chats , stories and laughs. He loved the fact I was so interested in the family.
To you dad, Thank you so much for everything you have given me.
I miss you and love you.

Thanks for the nice message. I'm guessing you're "local". I'm done photographing more than half of the oldest section and am now going through photo-by-photo, trying to match them up to old records, a database, and plot maps then I add them here. It's turning in to quite the research project. I could probably use some occasional help - especially when it comes to the illegible stones that I have to use tinfoil on in an attempt to be able to read anything identifiable. What are the family names you have buried there? Kathi

Thank you for your effort to take photographs of Dorothy and Minnie Barnes. It probably would have been acceptable to submit the photographs even through they were unreadable. That perhaps would motivate one of us to go work on them. If you have photographs, it would be ok to submit them, and don't feel too bad about it. Thanks.
