I transferred him over to you. If I can provide any additional assistance just ask. I don't live near the cemetery but might be able to assist.

Geoffrey Barber
St Nicholas Churchyard, Brighton, Sussex
I found my ancestor Thomas Barber's MI on FindaGrave which was great - thanks for doing that. I have a query though.
You mention the Plot No as 829. When I look at my source document (St Nicholas Green Spaces Association (SNGSA) 2008) it refers to this number (829) as an Entry Number.
Is the Entry Number the same as the Plot Number?

James Starley French
In Memory of/JAMES STARLEY FRENCH/23rd January 1972/aged 78 years.

St Martin Churchyard
East Sussex, England
Plot: 3

Hi - I am just looking at details of my great grandparents and see the memorial of my Great Aunt Joan who died aged 35. She is indeed the daughter of James and Caroline French (nee Reed) however James Starley French who has a plaque at the foot of Joan's grave is not her brother or son of James and Caroline. I am pretty certain he is James and Caroline's nephew.

Its all very interesting.
