Hello Dale,

I saw that you had upload some images to Catherine's Memorial and that you two had the same surname.

I would be happy to transfer her memorial into your care as I am not related to her. You can just reply to this message if you would like me to transfer her Memorial to you and I will send it right over.

Rev John Henry Knouse
Dale Knouse, Greetings, I am seeking information about Rev John Henry Knouse 1808-1885. His son, Murry Henry Knouse 1846-1913 who settled in Emporia, Ks is my Great Grandfather on my mother's side (Maurine Knouse Peck 1913-1990).

Dale, now also I would like to know your connection to Rev Knouse!! I am not aware of Knouse family living in Wamego area and might be distantly related to my branch of the Knouse family in Kansas.

Please provide any information you can. I live in Shawnee, Ks in Johnson county near Kansas City. I was born in 1946, raised in Concordia, Ks and graduated from KSU 1968. Thanks, Dale.

RE: Knouse Photo
You're welcome! I just live a block from the Cemetery, so it is a nice walk over there to get photos. I hope you enjoy your visit to Wamego. Take a few minutes to visit our downtown area, perhaps even get a bite to eat. (May I suggest the Friendship House, just one block east of the main street and across from the city park?) If you are at all a fan of the Wizard of Oz, our Oz Museum is a "must see".

Enjoy! :)
